    Not sure why those bad reviews in here

    Bought a bed from them and read the reviews after, almost regretted my purchase, but decided to wait and give it a try. People were all talking about rude customer service, extremely delayed shippings and all that. Well, my bed arrived just in time, absolutely no delays. The lovely lady from customer service called me a few days before to confirm that I'd be home for the delivery team, and was extremely kind. No complaints at all :)

    Never seen anything so pathetic in my life

    Stay away from the eglinton location. Never met such ignorant, rude individuals in a pathetic attempt to provide "customer service" I'm amazed this company allows this manager to manage this store. From what I can see from other reviews, no one has a positive experience with him and I now see why. We were told a price and when we came to pick it up he changed his mind and basically told us to deal with it. Pathetic.

    Return Policy is the absolute worst

    Bought a table, was defective and didn't like it - refused to allow us to return it because it was a sale item - no mention of this during the entire online purchase process and almost every item is always on sale so how are you ever able to return anything. I will never buy anything from this company ever again and encourage others to look elsewhere as well :( Customer service (online and instore) is also terrible

    worst customer service

    Unable to make a simple change to delivery hours, telephone message directed me to the store but stores can't view online purchases. Customer contact centre couldn't trace my order so no contact possible with delivery company. A total lack of interest in any follow up. Beware of purchasing anything online - they can't trace the orders.

    Glass Nesting Coffee Table

    My 85 year old mom saw a glass set of nesting tables for about $350. Upon purchasing she was told it would be $100 more for shipping from Montreal. Your in-store signs should say $350 plus shipping costs! She was also told you have a NO RETURN policy, but that the delivery would be right to her condo & would include set-up. The delivery men just plunked the very heavy boxes on her floor and said they don't take them out of their boxes or set them up! Very upsetting since she could not even lift the boxes, nor could she see if there was any damage. Given your no-return policy this could have been a huge problem judging by some other reviews I've read. All in all a very frustrating & disappointing service. We would never recommend your store for the purchase of large furniture items. In this competitive market, companies such as yours will not last until you improve your pricing policies, return policies, & delivery options. Most companies in this market will deliver, unpack, & set up large & heavy furniture! The fact that your store representative said the delivery would include this, is totally misrepresentation as is the in-store pricing signage.

    Versailles bed

    Waited a month for the bed which is no problem. However, the delivery company told me I would need to carry the boxes to my apartment. I live on the second floor, which per the site the delivery crew should delivery to my first room. Also, there were boot marks all over my box. GREAT bed horrible delivery service.

    Horrible customer service

    Purchased storage unit for kitchen on their website. Called the next day to find out when I could pick it up. They told me 9 days (it's a nine minute drive from their warehouse to their store). I asked if I could pick it up from the warehouse instead since it was in stock. They told me I had to cancel the order,drive to the store then pick it up at the warehouse. How stupid is that? I had already paid but they would rather inconvenience the client than adjust their system. I spent hours trying to put together the unit because of tons of errors in the instructions and badly marked parts. Called the head office for help and was told to call the store. Called the store and was told that the manager was not there and would call me back. Still waiting. Emailed them again . No apology no answers to my questions about parts just. "Take it back for a return or exchange" They think people have nothing better to do then spend hours trying to figure out all the errors in their instructions then disassemble ,repack and drive back and forth to their store. I would suggest buying elsewhere.

    Absolutely horrifying

    They first told me that the couch I ordered will only need a screwdriver to screw the legs in. The couch arrived and what I need is the drill. No one has ever told me that so I call them and the customer service is an absolute disaster. I am glad HomeStars offers 0 stars because that is exactly what this company deserves. Never buying again. Absolutely never

    I was satisfied with everything

    I ordered furniture online, indicated when I would like it delivered, and then ....furniture was delivered when I wanted, and the quality was just fine. I am posting to counteract all the negative reviews because I had seen all of these negative reviews after ordering and was rather concerned. I had no reason to be concerned. However, I would suggest that the company do a better job with their telephone customer service, the service is just terrible, it hangs up on the customer, you never actually get through.

    sunroom

    I just wanted to commend the 2 young ladies that were working in the store in Park Place Barrie on Saturday Mar 18. There was a lady in there and she was verbally abusing these 2 girls something fierce. They both managed to keep their composure and dealt with this crazy lady in a calm professional manner. Other customers were getting ready to step in. I am also in retail and would have kicked this lady out within the first 5 minutes of her tirade. Kudos to the 2 girls...I would hire them in a minute. I would also no trespass the crazy customer....no one deserves that abuse.
