My condo is about 10 years old and was in need of a kitchen upgrade. I did my research and invited several companies to quote my kitchen. I was really surprised when HomeImprovementPeople returned my intial email within 10 min. They set up an initial quote meeting within the first several days. Besides a couple hiccups which were out of the control of the team and a result of a supplier error. The demolition and construction of the new kitchen went great. The workmanship was outstanding and the kitchen looks better than I imagined. I would like to thank Caio (PM) and his team, as well as Charlotte for guiding and helping through the design phase. The Home Improvement people were incredible from beginning to end! What a joy it was to find a renovation company that does everything it says it will! Every part of the crew was amazing to work with. Dan, Elia, Christian, Danny, the painters, the plumbers, the guys laying the flooring, tiles and carpet....even Haydee at the front desk. On a daily basis communication was excellent. We always knew what was going to happen that day, and who would be coming to our home. Most importantly, the work was excellent. There was great attention to detail. If ever there was a concern, it was dealt with immediately. Everyone always made sure that we were happy with everything! We would recommend The Home Improvement People to anyone looking for exceptional service! In fact, our extended family has already booked them!

The Home Improvement People finished our basement two years ago and we were very pleased with their work. When it came time to renovate our master bathroom, the decision was easy. Once again, the team from the Home Improvent People was professional and easy to deal with. Their team of skilled professionals completed the job within the estimated time frame and did a great at accommodating our every request. We have already recommended this company to family members, and we would not hesitate to hire The Home Improvement People again for any future renovations, in our own home.

This is the second time we have hired Elia and his team at Home Improvement People and both times we have been thoroughly impressed. Everyone we dealt with, from Elia to each of his crew members has been respectful, polite, attentive to our needs and most importantly, always responsive to our questions and concerns. If there were ever any concerns (which in truth, there weren't many), they were immediately addressed in a fair manner with no complaints or excuses. What has always impressed me most about HIP is that everyone generally seems to care. They treat every job, no matter how small or large, with the same amount of care and detail and seem genuinely concerned that you are happy with the final product. The next time I need a reno company, I will definitely be calling them again.

We had the Home Improvement People come in to finish our basement. The job was done within the timelines initially estimated. The crews arrived when they were supposed to and stayed until the job was done. Nick and his crew were AMAZING as they really paid attention to detail and quality of workmanship. The tilers did a fantastic job, especially considering the uneven surface they had to work with. The crews cleaned up after themselves each day. Everyone was friendly and respectful of our house. Larry was right on top of things and extremely responsive. This combination made our experience an excellent one! We have had many contractors come through our house as we have been renovating floor by floor. The Home Improvement were the best by far. We wish we’d used them from the beginning! And, their rates are very competitive! We love our finished basement and are very grateful to The Home Improvement People!!!! We would tell anyone looking to do any type of reno that with The Home Improvement People you will definitely get a quality end result and will actually enjoy the experience! We hired HIP to install a bathroom in the basement with existing rough-ins as well as drywall in place. Gerhard came for an estimate and was very helpful in explaining what the best options were given the space. He prepared and sent me professional drawings of the project and specified all aspects of the job. He also included a complete list of fixtures and finishing for me to supply with exact numbers needed. This made supplying the parts I wanted very efficient. During the 4 day job Brian, Karn and Kyle were extremely professional, polite and respectful of our house. They worked efficiently and did an awesome job. Would highly recommend HIP to anyone.

Kris and his team replaced an acrylic shower stall with a shower with a tiled wall and floor. He took the time to explain the work that needed to be done at each stage of the project. The work was neatly and professionally completed. He provided advice on the tile to be purchased and sent me to a supplier who gave a substantial discount. He also made the arrangements for provision of the shower door. I would certainly use his services again and recommend his team for bathroom renovations. The end results met all of my expectations.

After renovating our bathroom with Home Improvement People - we went with them again with excitement to do our main floor. We are once again so happy. We had used GTA Cabinets, a subsidiary of The Home Improvement People approximately 3 years ago to redo our kitchen. We were and continue to be thrilled with it. When we saved enough to redo the rest of our main floor there was little doubt we would once again deal with Ben & Dan. We love our transformed house. Elia, Thank you for transforming my dark, dingy, damp, dungeon-like basement into a functional lower level with plenty of storage space, a great laundry zone (who knew doing laundry could be such fun!), a beautiful bathroom and a lovely sitting area. Above all, I appreciated your "can-do" attitude when I wanted to make a few changes to the construction plan as well as your quick response to a few challenges experienced during this process.
