Mien, Seth, Manuel and Phillippe renovated my small bathroom and did a fantastic job. The renovation included replacing the tub with a standing shower (glass doors installed by a separate company) and installing a new sink, toilet, and exhaust. The team was punctual, explained the work they were doing, cleaned up after themselves, and addressed customizations necessary due to the size constraints of the bathroom. With a 60-year-old home, it was important to have an experienced team that could remedy any hidden issues that came up once the demolition was done. I was home with my baby daughter at the time, and they accommodated her sleep and feeding schedule as much as possible. They were also very polite and worked very hard. They put in long days and made good use of the time they spent. We are very happy with the bathroom, and look forward to having them back for our next major renovation. Thanks for the great work!

I wanted to write a quick note to let you know how impressed I was with the team from the Home Improvement People. It all started off with our wonderful salesperson Eli. Eli was great- he was on time, and sent information over quickly as promised. He knew what he was talking about, and had a great personality. Eli promised a start date when we signed the contract, and the team showed up right on time on that date! On to the team. The team lead was Caio who was excellent. He was extremely professional, friendly and cooperative. The rest of the group: Alex, Fabiano and George were all amazing as well. They were all courteous, respectful and nice guys. My husband and I trusted them in our home, and they took care of it each day. It is obvious that these gentlemen take great pride in their work, and take their jobs very seriously. The group members were experts and did a fantastic job! We are very happy with the final product and this team was so easy to work with! The only reason we originally selected the Home Improvement people was because of the fantastic customer service we originally received, and this continued throughout the entire duration of the project. The team went above and beyond our expectations (i.e. always showed up at 8am on the dot, and if they were going to be late, they let me know in advance via text messages). The group looped us in when necessary and ensured we were satisfied with the job before they moved on to the next item. I would definitely use the Home Improvement People once again (we’re saving up for our next job now!) and we've already passed on your contact information to 4 different friends (we hope they will call soon)! The Home Improvement People provided great service. The project came in a week early and on budget with the quality of finishes I would expect . The team were professional, innovative, friendly and reliable. From initial meeting through quote to completion they went the extra mile to ensure I was involved with with all aspects of the project including unexpected situations - presenting creative solutions and ensuring I was pleased with the outcomes. I would use this group again and would highly recommend them.

Our basement was destroyed by the recent flood in toronto. Luckily I called Home improvement people. Dan came out right away, gave me an estimate on the spot. The price was reasonable we made a deal and they started immediately. Couldn't ask for better experience, Kyle and workers were polite, neat, clean, and professional. Job was completed on time and on budget and we are thrilled with results. Would recommend to anyone.

Hi all, normally I don't go on review sites and comment however I felt the need to tell you about Ben and his company. A few months ago I called the home improvement people to get a quote on a large renovation we wanted done. Ben came and from the moment he walked in we were "sold" not only did he listen to what we wanted but he put in his own input to help us with design and perhaps don't do this in order to save money. It showed us he cared. His team of workers Were polite and on time. Their work was second to none. We had extensive tiling done and fantastic custom cabinetry done that enhances our home. I cannot begin to describe how impressed I am with level of service and quality of my new kitchen. From the moment we met Ben, we felt completely at ease. Larry managed the project flawlessly and each and every one of the trades were fantastic. We decided to go with the custom cabinet options and are delighted we did because Jamie is truly a remarkable craftsman. We love the finish and even the hardware and hinges. This company was very reliable from start to finish. There was good planning before the job began and all work was completed as expected. The team was dedicated to our job only and did not leave to work on other jobs at the same time. The tradesmen worked efficiently and left the worksite clean afterwards. Office staff were available to answer questions as needed. It was clear from the start what was included and what would be an extra cost. There were no surprises. The amount charged by the company covers the installation costs. The client purchases all the cabinets, tiles, taps, etc. The quality of the work was excellent. We are planning to use them again shortly. The job was completed on time and on budget.

Score one for The Home Improvement People! They just completed renovatiing our home's foyer, hall way, stair case and upper landing and Sheila and I are absolutely delighted. The work was done on time and on budget with no surprizes. But the most impressive thing was the high quality workmanship and the respectful and polite manner of the workmen. They are the kind of people you don't mind having in your home. Particular cudos go to Sharaz and Salim Nanji, who led the project. They were an absolute pleasure to have around. They are excellent communicators who take the time to explain things and answer all your questions. Also a shout out to Santiago and his team of painters. Santiago tackled a particularly difficult wall remediation and did a wonderful job at restoring it to mint condition. This is our second project with The Home Improvement People and we are glad we returned. Here is what we like about this company's business philosophy. The crew is not allowed to start work on another project before yours is done. As a result, there are no delays or no-shows. The contract is crystal clear and signed in advance so there is no confusion about responsibilities or costs. And once they make a deal, they stick to it. There are no financial surprizes. If you are tired of being jerked around by contractors who promise the world and deliver something less, consider using the Home Improvement People.
