From start to finish everything went smoothly, and when I was indecisive about the tile design, Chris made a suggestion that worked beautifully. Dear Ben, It has taken me too long to write you this letter, but as I sit in my new kitchen to write this, perhaps the wait will make this letter even more meaningful. For the past 4 months we have been enjoying our home in a way we could have never imagined. This is thanks to to the incredible work your Company has done to transform our home. Hi Dan, Sorry it has taken me so long to express our sincere appreciation for Elia's management of the multitude of improvements that have transformed our home. It was almost a year ago that my husband had a major accident at work and shortly thereafter I met you in the horror that was our basement and the only change I could contemplate at the time was gutting it to view the space. Even though the scope of work increased exponentially throughout the months and there were a few bumps along the renovation path, we always felt that Elia was sincerely looking out for our best interests and it truly pained him when matters couldn't be resolved within a reasonable timeline or were out of our control. At all times we felt that Elia commiserated with us and his apologies and appreciation of our inconvenience were genuine. You are very lucky to have a resource like Elia representing your company. Also, kudos to Haydee as she made us feel that even though the contractual payments were due, she would not collect until she was sure that the work was satisfactory. We hired The Home Improvement People to renovate our kitchen, a decision we will never regret. They took great care of our home from demolition to the last detail. Crew was very organized, polite and made sure we were happy throughout process. We appreciate you starting when you said you would and finishing as scheduled. VERY IMPRESSED BY THE WORK DONE, AND WILL DEFINATELY RECCOMEND THE HOME IMPROVEMENT PEOPLE TO ALL MY COLLEAGUES AND FRIENDS. THEY HELPED ME OUT PERFECTLY BEING A NEW RESIDENT, THEY GAVE ME CONFIDENCE IN DEALING WITH A WELL STRUCTURED COMPANY. WELL DONE.

We hired Home Improvement people to install new kitchen cabinets, backpsplash, granite counter tops, baseboards and 600 sq ft of porcelain tiles. Ben assured us that we would receive top quality workmanship and would deal with any deficiencies. We ended up with uneven cupboards, chipped cupboard shelves and chipped sides of drawers, backsplash with grout on it, cement on the flagstone walkway and over 59 spots on the floor with uneven tiles. Project started Jan 9'12 and to date we have paid 87% of the project and we are waiting for Ben to address the deficiencies.

As a real estate investor with varying degrees of success and experience with other contractors on smaller renovation projects, I knew the importance of finding a professional, well-organized contractor who was going to be able to handle the scale of our project when it came time to do a full-scale renovation of our own personal residence. The Home Improvement People and their team were easy to work with, were super courteous and their project manager Larry Maher always showed extreme patience with all of our questions.

To Home Improvement People. We had HIP perform both a complete bathroom and kitchen renovation for us within the last year. We were very pleased with both reno's. The entire package of design help, professional trades personnel, quality of work and on-time delivery of the project was excellent and we would have no hesitation in using them again.

I called these guys mostly because of reviews on this site and I am pleased with results. I have a small basement in a fairly new house but I wanted to make it look really nice so we can get the most use out if it and now nobody wants to go upstairs anymore. My daughter and son fight over who gets to hang out there with their friends. Thanks to the crew who was friendly and professional.
