After interviewing several contractors, I met Ben and was immediately comfortable with him. His price for construction was laid out clearly and it did not alter throughout the process. I was in charge of purchasing all of the product and finishes for the bathroom. I liked having control with the guidance from Ben on quanitiy etc. Gerhard and his team were punctual, professional and extremely efficient. The renovation from start to finish took 6 days. At the end of each day my house was left tidy, and I did not feel like I was living in a construction zone. The quality of their work was A1! I could not be happier with the end product. Over 6 months later I still smile when I walk into my new bathroom.

We hired The Home Improvement People to renovate our main bathroom and were very pleased with the results. From our initial meeting with Ben, to our consultations with Niki to the final work by Gerhard and his crew - everything went very smoothly. The finished product is beautiful and every member of the team was a pleasure to work with. We had no surprises on the budget and it was done in less time than we expected. I have been hearing about Ben and his company The Home Improvement People Inc. for years, so when it came time for me to renovate my kitchen I knew I would be giving Ben a call. Ben and his team delivered exactly everything they promised they would. I love my new kitchen and continue to enjoy it everyday. Upon meeting Ben Berkovits we were confident that we and our bathroom were in good hands. The bathroom was transformed beyond our expectations and right on budget. There were no unexpected surprises or issues as we have all either experienced or heard stories about. Ben's staff/workers were punctual, polite and a pleasure to work with and have in our home. Home Improvement Team We would like to thank the entire Home Improvement team and especially Gerry for the absolutely fantastic bathroom renovation. This was our first experience with the Home Improvement People and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Ben was excellent on the introductory visit and provided a firm quote and expected start date on the spot. And Gerry the contractor was a true professional and extremely competent craftsman. The work site was always tidy, which we really appreciated since the work was being done on the master bathroom. Gerry gave us excellent advice on the best approach to certain aspects of the job and made a big save when he pointed out that the bathroom supplier had provided a plastic overflow valve instead of the more reliable metal valve. Thankfully we were able to get the proper fittings and avoid any potential breakage that could happen behind the wall some time in the future. The finished product looks fantastic. We will definitely recommend The Home Improvement People to our friends. We already have a neighbour that is thinking of calling you. Hi Guys, Just a little note to say thank you for the recent basement reno you finished. Everything was as you said it would be. The communication was terrific and there was always someone to answer any question we had. The quality was great and our kids and their friends love their new space. Can't wait to do our bathrooms upstairs.

This note is to tell you how much we enjoyed working with Niki and Jerry on the renovation of our two bathrooms. Both Niki and Jerry are true professionals. Niki provided excellent guidance in planning, purchasing, coordinating and project management. Her involvement made it easy for us. Jerry did all of the demolition and installation and is a craftsman who does exceptional work. He is focused, conscientious, cooperative and does everything extremely well. He cleaned up at the end of each day and the interruption to our daily routine was minimal. The project was finished on time and within budget and we are very happy with the result. For a project of this nature to be completed without anything happening that is upsetting or irritating is not only unusual but truly amazing.
