We have used Captain Electric at two separate homes and properties, both suffering from handy-man-itis and ridiculously dangerous wiring. We were knew to home ownership and the cost of being able to sleep well at night was daunting. You will get many friends telling you to hire their brother-in-law or friend because they are an electrician - and they may very well be BUT, I stuck to my instincts and hired Captain Electric. As a client, there are things you don't see of know. While electricians may be running out of wire at this time, this company's owner was experienced enough to preemptively order wire, so we didn't have that problem. We hired them to fix our ailing cottage/home in stouffville, then called them again (like the calvary) to help us make safe a victorian farmhouse. The crew had a daunting electrical challenge and while we've experienced other contractors' woe-is me, complain and moan attitudes, these guys were far more focused and inspired by solutions, and plying their traded like experts. Really they were. The guys worked tirelessly in terrible heat. They communicated with each other and with us. And their admin are a pleasure to deal with, partient and treat their clients like family. they were polite and cleaned up their mess and were masterful at their jobs. Their certification and reputation will increase your investment in your home. While bob the wire jockey at the pub will come in and hook up new wiring to old dangerous wiring for a few bucks less, stop and think before making that call.
