    Abell Pest Controll

    I will never use this company again or recommend this company to anyone. I have been getting the run around from day one. I live in a town house and was told by my landlord that I may have bed bugs because of an attached unit. Abell came into confirm but did not leave a date of return, so I had no idea when I had to have the prep work done by. When I called them and my landlord no one could give me answer....it took them 2 weeks to give me a date. This is a crazy time frame because bed bugs spread fast. When I called abell to ask questions about the prep work the person on the phone was rude and gave me different answers then the tech at my place. I have been sleeping on my couch for 2 weeks and will for another 2, until they come back for another treatment....very disappointed

    mice issues

    We called Abell to assist us with a mice issues at our property. The experience was very unpleasant for us and our tenants. We have lost tenants due to the lack of solutions to the issue. It seems the company is very good at recommending exterior solutions, but when it comes to actually dealing with the pest control, this is still outstanding. We were not satisfied with the service that we signed up for and can't recommend them.

    Carpenter Ant Treatment

    We had carpenter ants last year and we had Abell come out to spray the baseboards. They were reasonably priced, showed up on time and got rid of these pests. Overall very happy with their service.

    Mice extermination

    Recently called Abell after seeing a couple of mice in our home. First of all, was told there would be a guarantee before I booked but when I came in they tried to tell me there wasn't. Secondly, I was also told they would be using mechanical traps before I booked but when the exterminator arrived, he said it would be extra. Thirdly, I was not impressed with the thoroughness of the service. Our exterior nor upstairs was inspected and there wasn't much of an effort beyond looking at obvious places. I had to ask the exterminator to put down glue traps instead of him doing it on his own. We were looking for peace of mind in this situation, which we did not receive. I booked with Abell out of panic, which I regret now. The exterminator was friendly but overall, I do not feel I received fair value for this service. I would not recommend Abell.

    Wasp problem above garage door

    We had a major wasp problem with the insects getting into the soffits above the outside door and above the garage. I called Abell and their technicians came over the following week and in one treatment killed all the wasps including their nests. It was a smooth as silk.

    Pest control

    Abell control services offers a great service when it comes to your pest control problem such as ours! The technician who went to inspect our home ( Joel ) was so accommodating and very knowledgeable about the problem and gave solutions about our pest situations on the spot... He was very pleasant to talk to and no doubt we will refer Abell pest control services in the future to our friends!

    bed bug treatment

    I would give negative star if I could. This is regarding Abell Delta office as this Winston location no longer existed: They used in-effective pesticides without interviewing residents of where pest is concentrated with an intent to bring them continuous future revenue. Management rip off customers by charging outrageous preparation fee when they themselves DID NOT do the preparation on their OWN list. Customer service personnel rude and unwilling to answer question. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST!

    home pest control

    The company doesn't keep a good record of the job they do in a single house. They came and did half of the job because my house was under renos. They bill me for the full price. Then came to finish the job and bill me again. It's really annoying.

    Mice in the house

    I found mice in the house and called Abell to get an expert assessment and to have them fix any issues that they saw. For instance, I suspected mice might be getting into the house through the laundry vent so I thought they might cap it, etc. Instead the technician identified all the spots I already knew about including the dryer vent and recommended I buy a pest cap. He also set three $1 mouse traps without any bait. All for $153 dollars. The technician was polite and on time, which explains the 1-star. Otherwise useless.

    Abell Pest Control

    Had a home inspection done and didn't realize we had such a problem with mice. Robin arrived promptly as scheduled and made an inspection in and outside. He baited and added stations which will hopefully eradicate our problem. It's reassuring to know that a representative will return in a few months(we went with a year contract) and assess the effectiveness of the treatment and respond as necessary.
