Crown Moulding & Base Boards throughout the house

Steve was really good at returning my calls and stopping by to quote things out and show me some samples (the other well reviewed guy on this site didn't want to drop by, basically told me they started at about $7.00 a foot and went up from there and to call if I wanted to get started). Steve's price was easily the best from the discussions I had with competitors. Sascha and his crew came by a few times, rain made it a little drawn out but overall they were available when I was. Very friendly guys, I added a few things along the way with no problems, they had good suggestions to tackle some challenges which turned out very well (stairs, transition pieces etc.). Overall the value is amazing, you get a lot for the money and it looks really finished off my reno's very nicely. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends.

Crown moulding on the first floor

Steve, the owner, was on top of things from the first call. He followed up quickly, and we didn't have to run after him when we had questions, which is very much appreciated. If you've ever run after trade guys (and who hasn't), you know what I'm talking about. His company specializes in crown moulding. The selection isn't extensive, but the crown moulding style offered is simple, yet elegant, and looks good in almost all decors, so it's a wise choice. The material is MDF, not wood or plaster, and its flexibility allows for easy corrections of uneven walls and ceilings. The price is affordable by most budgets. At around 4$ a linear foot, with no extra surprises, it's well worth enhancing your home. When the installation crew (a team of 3 guys) showed up, I was absolutely amazed at their skill level. They managed to do most of my first floor under 2 hours, and it looks good !!! Can you say WOW ??? The corners are miterred, no coped, so they can save time there, but honestly, as long as it fits, I don't care how it's done. On my budget, I'm not going to pay twice as much for coped corners. In a multi-million dollar home, maybe using another material and coping corners would be a better choice, but for our house, this was perfect, as the seams came out very tight. The caulk applied was precise, and can be painted over, which is way better than drywall compound (that will eventualy dry and crack) or silicon (that cannot be painted over). The nail heads were covered, but before we can paint the crown moulding, we will need to go over them a second and possibly a third time, to ensure no dips are visible. This, however, was expected. The installation crew was careful not to damage anything, and cleaned up after itself. Overall, this was an outstanding job, very professionaly done. Good work guys !!!

    crown molding, potlights

Steve arranged to have crown molding installed in our entire house for half the price quoted by a competitor. He was also able to source the specialty molding I preferred. Additionally, he had potlights installed in our home at a very reasonable price. His men are efficient, professional and fast. I absolutely love the crown molding. It has added elegance and character to our new home. The potlights and dimmer switches are great too. I would highly recommend Steve for your home projects.
