If you're considering contracting this company for any cement work - DON'T! In 2016, my mother, an 89 yr old senior hired Metro Wide to replace her front steps and walkway. They weren't the least expensive quote, nor were they the highest. Initially, we were very impressed with Jason, their sales representatives sincerity. He seemed honest and listened to what Mom wanted, even offering his advice on "what not to do". A diagram was drawn for the team indicating specifically how the walkway was to look upon completion. Not only did the team doing the work ignore the diagram and change the shape of the walkway without prior consent, upon arriving at the house, it was discovered that as a result, they also tore out a "memorial garden." The answer given for the changes was, "that they must've thought it would look better". This wasnt their decision to make! We not only had to call them back to sand down visible clumps of concrete on the edges etc, but again months later when very visible cracks began appearing on the steps and walkway. Jason advised it was "settling" and to wait for the following spring when they would return to re-assess. We were advised in that spring by Jason that he had referred the concerns to his father-in-law, the owner. After numerous calls to arrange for Joe to come out and look at the cracks etc, he arrived and said he'd send someone out to do some parging to fill the cracks in. They did arrive and added parged the steps, only for it to literally fall off in sheets after the winter. Last year numerous large, very visible cracks began to stretch around the base of the steps and out across the middle of the walkway. Jason was called and numerous messages were left on his vm asking him to come and look at the problem. We were very aware that the warranty period had passed, however this is certainly not an issue one would expect after such a short period of time. Finally, after 2.5 mths he picked up his phone and confirmed receiving the messages, with no excuse as to why the calls had gone unanswered. He agreed to come out and look at the cracks etc. When asked for a specific day, as we wanted to be here, he said it "wasnt necessary for us to be home" and he'd call back once he "reviewed the situation". No call was ever received and when I finally reached him it was the end of the summer and he said, "oh, I referred that to my Pops (the owner). Didnt he call you?' I advised no and he assured me he'd have him call. No call has ever been received to this day and this company has never returned to take accountability for the poor workmanship and to rectify this particular situation. We've been very reasonable, giving this company numerous opportunities to do so, prior to resorting to leaving this review. The amount of money spent by my mother was a waste and this whole course of events has been very upsetting to her as the numerous cracks take away from the pleasing esthetic that the new walkway and stairs hoped to provide. All we want is for someone, be it Jason or Joe, to step up and return to make arrangements to fix the issues. We didnt previously, nor do we now, feel thats asking too much.

Our asphalt driveway looked worn 25 years ago when we first bought the house. To make matters worse I thought our property would look larger if I reduced the 1.5 - 2 car wide driveway to just 1 car width by covering part of the driveway with soil, woodchips , lawn and a few bricks. Fast forward to 2019, and our 1960’s bungalow is now surrounded by custom built $2 Million dollar homes. The first thing I said to Jason when he arrived was that I wanted our house to blend in more with the new homes but I did not want to spend a lot. Jason offered to “reclaim” the space that I had hidden with bricks and sod and suggested adding a gentle curve to the driveway to allow me to achieve a larger lot look without sacrificing parking space. The work was done quickly, tastefully and flawlessly. Before contacting MetroWide Paving I contacted 3 other companies. Thank heavens I found MetroWide Paving! Jason and the workers who interacted with my family were very respectful and helpful. The work was executed flawlessly and comes with a full guarantee.

Joe and his team did an Amazing Job on my Patio and Front Walkway. I had a request for a Wood Look Design and the made it happen and it looks Incredible! I’ve already had a ton of compliments. A big thank you to Joe and all of his guys for their amazing work. The guys were great - they showed up early, worked nonstop, updated us along the way, and made sure everything was perfect. I also had a neighbor comment on how great their work was as he watched the construction process unfold. Cheers to Joe and his wonderful team. If I could give them more than 10 Stars I would. Highly recommend !

Although my paver/asphalt job was relatively small, I felt like a big customer in how I was treated. The professionalism displayed by Jason, Joe and Dimitri was impressive. Jason's quote was very fair and he's a super friendly guy to deal with. He was always quick to reply to my multiple voicemails/emails as was Joe. Even Dimitri on the crew was very polite and helpful with completing the job and explaining after-care to me. Jason even came back when the job was done to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. I am so incredibly happy with how the job turned out. The project was even completed ahead of time!. Well done guys! I would highly recommend to everyone.

Joe and his team were knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Lou and his team who did the concrete work were also great. They had to deal with some issues with a very old garage and did a superb job. We would highly recommend this company and would consider them for any future projects we may have.

During the assessment on our property Joe highlighted several areas where special care to be taken and he gave us a fair price for the job. All appointments were kept on time. We were very satisfied with his “no-nonsense” attitude and honest dealing. Thank you, Joe! 5 stars Victor & Svitlana

I came back to use Metro Wide Paving's service from last time's good experience. This time it requires 4 times more work compared to my previous (tiny) driveway. The crew was again very professional, hard working and friendly. After job was done, some fixing needed and Joe sent his men right away, as promised. The key thing to work well with Metro Wide Paving is planning ahead, and be patient because they work in large scale, with big machinery (sometimes 7-8 trucks parking near my house). You will get the best rate for your patience!

I hired this company to redo my concrete floor in the garage. It was not the cheapest but I felt right about their ability to do the job to my expectation. I got multiple quotes and chose them. Joe is a no BS kind of guy. The team he sent over were young but really professional. They answered all my questions and the work was excellent. They came when they promised, they did the work as they promised. I had no need to call the company or the owner for anything. I am very satisfied with the experience I had with Metro Wide Paving.

Jason arrived on time and gave competitive quote. The old driveway was torn up and some new gravel added. After several weeks to allow the gravel to settle the new asphalt was installed and it looks great. They even disposed of some old chunks of concrete I had left in the driveway without asking. All emails to Joe were answered within the hour. I wish all contractors were this good.

Got 3 quotes. Joe was the first to arrive, gave a very competitive price immediately and explained the process and timing. His team was thorough, arrived early with all the equipment and labour required and got it done without issue. The quality of the work was top notch! They are honest, responsive and professional. Metro-wide is my go-to hardscaping contractor from hereon in!
