Dane and Liam were each professional, courteous and efficient in replacing my hot water heater just before a long weekend. I wouldn't hesitate to use Shorty's again.

Had i leak in my kitchen from the tap and under the sink. A young guy named Adam came on time and figured it out also explained what it was and was gone within 10 minutes. Great service

I got an estimate for a bathroom in my basement. The person giving the estimate gave me misinformation about plumbing placement, roughed-in locations and actual cost. The shower base was not even , leaving gaps in the door( which I paid a professional installer separately. The drain was not put in 12 inches from the wall, resulting in having to adapt the base. The toilet was placed on the opposite wall, leaving no room for a vanity. When questioned I was told that this was the only place to put a toilet. Luckily I had taken pictures of the process . When it became apparent that the water lines placed in the walls were actually put outside the wall areas, it was impossible to drywall . When emails went back and forth to this person representing the company, they suddenly started bouncing back saying he was away for 6 months. I called the alternate number on the email and another person came to inspect. He asked me why the bathroom was there. I told him this was where I was told it should go ( despite having an actual room ready to put a bathroom in. Then he asked why the toilet was in the location and I told him that that was the only place they could put it. I produced pics of the dig and was told that there was no reason the bathroom had to be in that location. He then informed me that the person that was overseeing the project had been fired! The next day I delayed the rest of my build and they came to redig and place the toilet in the correct spot. Now the electrical has to be re-done because the light and plug is not centred ! So the electrical box moving and the drywall and painting would have to be redone. I asked several times to consider that and instead they just chose to send me a bill.

Work was done by Dane. He is very professional, explains what needs to be done as he goes along. Very polite, and makes sure everything is in working order before he leaves. I would recommend Shorty's Plumbing to anyone. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about Shorty's Plumbing and esp. plumber Dane! First they were extremely patient with my many rebookings, secondly their prices are really reasonable, thirdly their work is top notch and finally, to say that they went above and beyond what would be expected of them, is an understatement. Plumber Dane showed up right on time for his appointment to find me outside of my house having just been viciously attacked by a feral cat, screaming in pain and gushing blood. He immediately attended to me and called for help and also took took even more of his time to describe the animal and scene to animal services! Dane, how can I thank you enough?? From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!! The work you did in the kitchen while I was in the hospital is PERFECT!! Thank you!! THIS COMPANY PUTS THE CLIENT FIRST!!

What a great company shorty's Plumbing and heating service is. Rick and Tyler came to do the install of furnace and hot water tank and man what a great job they did. They went above and beyond. I would strongly recommend them if you want a great job done. They explained what they did and made sure we know how to work everything. I know I am going on and on about this but it was a great experience from start to finish. Thanks again

Ryan did a super job with handling my furnace issue. He's super knowledgable, on time, and determined the issue immediately. Any future heating AC or plumbing issues I encounter will result in phoning Shorty's for help and advice. Brian

They upsold my dad for a jet tub, when the tub was installed it wasn't the jet tub my dad thought he was getting. When we called to get things sorry out they were friendly and kind said they would call us back and offer solutions to make it right, and we never heard from them again. Don't use them, they're shady shifters

Great service for furnace repair from Rick - more than happy to come out on an evening weekend call, arrived on time, knowledgable, and personable fellow! He obviously enjoys his job and it was a pleasure dealing with him. I would definitely recommend Shortys for your repairs.

I called Shorty's after having a non stop and extremely irritating drip coming from the toilet. I put in a new gasket so knew that wasnt the issue. When I called the office they arranged an appointment within the week. I had read reports on the company and although they had generally favourable reviews there was a better business report where someone complained about a $75 service charge that was never mentioned before a technician was sent out, so I knew to expect this charge just to have someone access the problem. You can imagine my disappointment to find there was actually a $145. charge just to determine the problem. The young man who came out was pleasant, understanding and mentioned this had happened in the past. How disappointing that at no time was I advised that the cost to send some out was actually double what was obviously a point of contention with a prior client plus even when I received a reminder the day prior to the appointment was I advised of this cost. As I said, the plumber who came out was professional, courteous and understanding but undoubtedly put in a difficult position. Not being upfront with customers is certainly not the way to build customer satisfaction. Very disappointed!!!
