We completely gutted the top floor of our four level split as we were having water /ice problems in our attic and ceiling plus the rooms were always cold. Demo identified fibreglass batts in the walls and attic that weren’t sufficient at all. At some point the previous owner had fibreglass blown in on top of the batts, which didn’t do a thing but only hid the problems. Did a lot of research on better insulation options and found Insulation Police. Greg was super knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different options and recommended the blown-in cellulose for a far better r-value. He showed up at the residence and provided further information which satisfied what we were looking for.
On the date of our install, Greg emailed me to let me know that they were on the were way, about 1 hr before our scheduled time, which we appreciated. His employees, Sidney and Kelly, were respectful of our home and put floor mats down and protected the railings from the house. After they were complete, they cleaned up very well....as if they hadn’t been there. Greg also asked if we had any other cold spots in the house that we were concerned about and we pointed out the front room. Greg went over the problems associated with the cantilevered main window and offered to insulate it properly as well, which they. Huge improvement noticed.
