Glass door insert
Barry was very quick with his reponses, which I appreciate. He was also able to have the installer, Murray, come to install that same weekend. I asked many questions, but we decided to go with a style and had emailed Barry the style name. The day before I asked if he could also send a different style so I could see the difference. I guess there was some kind of miscommunication and the original style was not brought the day of installation. Murray was very apologetic and friendly and said he could reschedule for another day and bring the other style. We decided to go with our second choice but I do wish I could have seen the other style. (We were a bit anxious). We are overall happy with the second choice insert and would recommend What A Pane to our friends and neighbours.

Glass doors!!
We found this company on homestars and gave them a call. The owner of the company was friendly. My wife and I were unable to makeup our mind between 2 designs and he told us he can send both with the guy who was installing it. We were more than happy with the service and our doors turned out fabulous. I highly recommend this company to everyone. Very professional and honest. Good luck to your company!

LionHeart Glass Inserts
We had WhatAPane come out for a quote to North Oshawa. We were really eager to have our doors done with either stained glass or wrought iron. They brought out both designs we liked most to try them in our doors. Unfortunately, our doors were a custom size, so they could not install it the same day. They came back the very next day to install the custom size doors. It was a very quick installation and everything went smooth. We are very happy with our door! Lots of compliments!

Front door glass inserts and lock
From beginning to end, this company was a pleasure to deal with. Murray was very helpful and patient with us. The order took quite a few weeks but it was what we expected. He customized the inserts the way we wanted them and the door looks great. I would have no hesitation recommending this company.

Door Insert
The door insert that Barry designed was great. The price was good and did a great job installing it. They also came at the time they were expected to install it. We love the door. Thank you Barry !

Front Door Insert & Transom
My wife and I went to What A Pane's showroom in Vaughan and browsed most of the selection available through their catalogue. We wanted to see a design that wasn't in the showroom, so the staff there showed it to us in the warehouse by unpacking a new one. We ended up installing through What A Pane as a group deal with three other neighbours. The prices quoted were phenomenal and we all decided to go with Barry from What A Pane. My wife was uncertain about the generic transom for "Genesis," so Barry allowed us to design our own. He then had it manufactured (took about 6 weeks) and installed it beautifully. I can go on and on about how great a job Barry (and his crew) did, but the bottom line is that we are extremely satisfied with our door, as it is rather beautiful. Thank you for all your help, Barry. Hats off to you.

Door windows
What A Pane did a wonderful job retrofitting two doors in my home. They installed a full length window in a metal door and replaced a window in a wood door with a new thermal one. Both windows look as if they have always been there. I couldn't be happier with the work they did.

Door inserts and new transom
What a Pane replaced our 1/2 door inserts with full inserts and replaced our transom - they did an excellent job! The new inserts and transom are absolutely beautiful and they have completely transformed the look of our home!! Barry and his associate were wonderful to work with!

Wrought Iron Front Doors by What A Pane
What A Pane were efficient and professional! We are very satisfied with the quality of our beautiful wrought iron front doors. They were very understanding and made it easy for us to get what we wanted. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends! Excellent service.

Front Door and Bathroom Window Insert
We were interest in wrought iron front door inserts as well as for our powder room windows which also face the front of the house. I contacted whatapane in early October based on the excellent reviews I read on Homestars. Within a few days, Murray came out to do measurements and discuss ideas. We decided on the Lyonheart design for the front doors and wanted them cut so as to have full door inserts. Murray advised that he would be able to come up with a custom design for the power room windows that would complement the front doors. Within a few days, he sent us some designs and we chose one that was really nice and very complementary to the main design! Installation took place after about 8 weeks as was expected and promised. Murray did a neat, quick, clean job with the installation. The end result exceeded our expectations and totally transformed the look of our home. The full door inserts offer privacy yet allow lots of natural light into the front entry area. We have since received many compliments from the neighbours. I would highly recommend this company!
