Review from HomeOwner Review left on 6 Apr 2013Rating: 5 out of 5Our eavestroughs were full of ice and falling apart after the snowstorms we had this winter so we called Maxima Aluminum after seeing their good ratings on Homestars. They were very punctual and professional and did a great job of replacing our eavestroughs. We would definitely reccommend them to our friends/familly.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

My experience with this company was excellent. I found Gennadiy to be very helpful and he offered suggestion beyond what he was contracted to do which was greatly appreciated. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves, which was important to be as I have young children. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Answer from pro:

Maxima Aluminum did a stunning job on my new eavestrough! Very pleased with detailed quote and many different options and colors offered. Guys answered all my questions and explained how my new system will work. Significantly lower price compare to two other companies estimates. Also it was quite a surprise to see same guys that gave me a quote actually do the entire installation themselves! Great job! Highly recommend!Answer from pro:

I used Maxima to complete this relativity small job because they actually did come by and climb up to have a close look at the problem. In this case, paperboard fascia had become water saturated and caused eaves to come away from the house. Photos that they took confirmed my suspicion that the problem was not a simple fix and that R&R was needed. Other company's that veiwed from the ground (2 1/2 storey) simply stated that it could be "nailed" back in place and problem solved. Not the case, water saturated paper board is a significant problem and removal/replacement is the only long term solution. Cost wise, Maxima was the same as other quotes, I am satisfied with their work and will be calling them back for the next renovation. In this case, Gennadiy and the crew will be renovating our siding.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

The work done by Maxima Aluminum to replace my old rusty eavestrough was outstanding. Their installation was just in time before the tailwind of storm Sandy came. When the strong wind came, I can see my neighbors' eavestrough wobbling and making some noise as if the nails are going to come loose. Our eavestrough installation came with hidden screws making it so strong and durable. Overall, these guys exceeded my expectations and I am so impressed. Professional, friendly, courteous are the words to describe Mr. Stas and company. Anyone looking into having their eavestrough repaired or replaced, never hesitate to call Maxima Aluminum Ltd. They are one of the best in the business.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Just when you've gotten tired of uncaring, incompetent, and imbecilic contractors, along comes Maxima Aluminium to do the job, on time, on budget, without the unnecessary stress of holding anyone's hand while they do their job. Thank you for a job well done!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I think they did a very good job on the eaves and downspouts. However, a couple of things forced me to give them less than a perfect score. First, I had just got my roof done and evidently the way it was installed made the eaves job more difficult. While they were working I went out to take a look at how it was going when one of them started yelling at me that they should charge me more money. The other issue is the number of screws and nails I've found on my driveway since they finished the job. They started the job about 10 days after the roofers finished. During the 10 days between jobs I had no issues. Since Maxima finished I've had two flat tires and found 10+ screws/nails on the driveway alone. While it's clear the screws came from them (new with brown paint matching eave colour), I suspect the nails fell into the old eaves when the roof was being done and then made there way onto my driveway when the Maxima guys pulled down them down. Definitely not entirely their fault, but I can't help but think a proper clean up would have avoided this.Answer from pro:
HI Brad! Thanks a lot for high rated and detailed review! We do not expect 10-star from every customer as we all humans and not every time perfect - but we are trying our best to get them. Please spend a minute with me going over your review, because I think some of yours points for which we got a little lower than 10 score are wrong: 1) - " ... one of them started yelling at me that they should charge me more money" .- Dear Brad, we never, never "yelling" at our customers at any circumstances. That - "one of them" was me, and I clearly remember that moment, I didn't "yell",I told you,or advice you and my voice wasn't any different before and after I told you that if I knew that the roofing company ( for which by the way you left a little more optimistic review with 10 stars) will install unneeded drip-edge on non-eavestroughed 4 gables and nailed it trough the fascia boards, what extended our project completion by 3 hours - I"d definitely charge you more money. You even agreed with me on this one :- -"First, I had just got my roof done and evidently the way it was installed made the eaves job more difficult.". Usually, most of the people are happy when they get something extra, free of charge. Whats wrong with that? Did I charge you more money for that? -No. Did I and my partner worked 3 extra hours more-Yes. So honestly- I should be the one complaining. 2) - "and found 10+ screws/nails on the driveway" - Let me explain this one: - Ones again, our job unexpectedly got extended by 3 extra hours , we all know why, and we finished when it was dark already, so clean up job wasn't perfect - I completely agree. - "I suspect the nails fell into the old eaves when the roof was being done" - again, roofing company should do a little better clean up job. But of course, customers do not complain about roofing nails rest in their eaves, only on the ground. Anyway, right before we left I did tell you that you may find some screws or nails, and you said that you understand. So my question to you is why the very next morning you woke up and found "10+" screws or nails you simply didn't pick up the phone and dial 10 digits and say "Guys, to many screws , please come back and clean" -We would be there. - why you didnt call? -"I've had two flat tires "- why you didnt call? You should take picture and call me - I would cover a cost of fixing it. -"Definitely not entirely their fault" - I agree, but we the ones who getting lower score. IMHO a bit unfair. Gennadiy

I contacted Maxima because my eavestrough was leaking and coming away from the house. I thought i would have to replace them but Maxima said he could repair them (which was a great relief). He saw that i had no downstpouts at the back of the house and that was why i had leaks in the back of the house (too much water). He told me that he was very busy and it wouldn't be for 2 weeks but would call ahead, 2 days later he called me and said "So did you see anything diffrent last night" being that it was dark when i got home i didn't even look. He came early and did all the work to perfection and even changed an existing downspout (that was in rough shape) for free! I would recommened Maxima for there work and honesty.Answer from pro:
Thanks Peter!
