I had used Speers Flooring previously to install hardwood floors in other rooms in my house. I engaged them a second time to continue the installation of hardwood in other rooms. They performed equally as well on the second installation. I had some difficulties with some of the contract details of what had been promised on this installation. While I encountered some resistance in the resolution of these issues with the sales representative / project manager, when I raised these issues with one the owners all of the disputes were easily resolved. to my satisfaction.

We visited many retailers while researching hardwood for our living and dining rooms. Greg’s expertise, suggestions, explanations and guidance were by far the best. The installers, Joseph and Peter, performed wonders in eliminating transition elevations into both the living room and dining room. Not only are they excellent at their craft, but they take the time and attention to details as if they were working in their own homes – the results were beyond our expectations. From the showroom to final installation, the entire process and experience was first class with no surprises or problems. We would highly recommend Speers. We were very pleased and special thanks to Joseph and Peter as well.

We have used Speers Flooring on several renovations in various homes and projects and have always been very satisfied. Most recently, we had long plank Torly's Townline Natural Cork installed to re-fresh our fully finished basement. The Speers hardwood, cork and natural stone selection is great, and their roster of experienced installers means you get a professionally finished project, on-time and on-budget. We had two small challenges crop up during the install (unforeseen, under old floor) that were solved quickly and without drama by both Peter Ricci (one of the owners) and the installer working together to ensure our satisfaction and that we received a high-quality finished job. If Peter had not pointed out the little issues, and explained his solutions, we would have never even known. As before, Speers has delivered a great finished product, no surprises, and at a very competitive price. We love our floor and the whole experience has proven again that home renovations can even be FUN if you pick the RIGHT partner (be warned - the store is "electric" busy most Saturdays with everyone roaming the display samples and finding their exciting new design finishes). While there may be more parking at a "big-box" store, that is all they have. Peter and his staff are skilled professionals. They know their products, how to best achieve your finished project (large or modest), provide as much (or little) installation support, and even home delivery. The other aspect they handle with ease is the dreaded "special order". If that floor that you have fallen in love with needs to be ordered (often its in stock - they operate two large Oakville warehouses filled with tile and flooring), the process is quick, painless and above all - reliable! Your order comes in on-time and you get a call right away - other stores just seem to have issues that Speers has been able to tame. Bottom line - they have the products, staff, contractors, special order process and great pricing - you'll be glad you went to Speers Flooring.

Very professional work and excellent customer service from Speers Flooring - owner Peter Ricci was very attentive to our needs and budget, and strived to provide us great value for the product. Would definitely return for future flooring work and highly recommend to others.

For weeks prior to visiting your store my wife Rosemary and I spent many hours visiting the big box stores trying to find the right backsplash for our kitchen. I must say in the many times we visited those other stores that not one sales person asked us if we needed help. My sister-in-law recommend your company as she has used your services for some work in her home a few years back. Our experience with Speers Flooring was painless; we were greeted the minute we stepped inside and even though the service expert Matthew Callaghan was assisting other couple we were directed to the right area for our kitchen backsplash. He then listened intently to what we wanted and then without hesitation gave us his recommendation which we instantly loved. He worked with us to pick the design and also examine the pros and cons of this tile versus other tiles. We never once felt rushed or pushed into making a decision. So once we agreed, we were asked to do a measurement and he would get an exact quote and also check availability for an installer. In our excitement we went home and came back the same day with the measurements. Fast forward to a few weeks later and Jamie the installer shows up and spent the entire day meticulously doing the design and completing phase I. A few days later he returned to seal the tiles. Being a perfectionist myself I appreciate the care and time Jamie took to make it just right for our home. We really love the look of the tiles and honestly we don't know why we didn't do this before! We have received a huge number of compliments from neighbours and friends and family. Absolutely amazing! Yet again, my Husband and I are thrilled with our floors from Speers Flooring. We had Tomasz and Andre install our main floor kitchen and basement flooring. They arrived on time, and were very professional. We chose Superior Hardwood for the main floor, White Oak Yukon White 4 1/4". Love it! For the basement, we chose Vintage Black Walnut Oiled engineered flooring. Wow! We don't have much left to do in our home but when we get to it, Speers is the only place for us! Thank you Speers. I would recommend you to anyone.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase from Speers Flooring. The showroom staff were friendly, polite and professional. The installation crew worked very hard, showed up on time and cleaned up when they were finished. Peter the owner/manager was a real gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.

Our floors are absolutely gorgeous that Speers Flooring , Oakville, installed. We should have done it much sooner. They were excellent in service & quality. Workmanship outstanding and finished the job in the time they said.

We recently had carpeting removed and hardwood installed in 4 bedrooms and closets. We are extremely pleased with Speers Flooring, from the time Peter Ricci quoted us the price, the follow ups and the install, all was friendly and professional. We were very impressed with Tom and his dad Mark. Tom came by the night before on his own initiative to make sure everything was ready and made a few suggestions such as removal of pictures on walls etc - this was very helpful to ensure nothing would get damaged and we appreciated his advise. They arrived on time, covered existing floors and stairs to keep dust and dirt off and worked incredibly well together. Our floors are just gorgous, we could not be happier with what we had done. We chose the Superior Red Oak 4 1/2 " - company is in Rockwood, Ontario, a Canadian company which thrills us to keep it Canadian. We also had existing baseboards removed and replaced for a much nicer look, this something Peter suggested and did not charge us for. Tom and Mark worked so hard they had the job finished earlier than expected - for this we were grateful, having hardwood installed is a very noisy experience and we were glad for the silence, this also allowed us more time to put things back in place. We had our downstairs done by another company and it was not a good experience. I can honestly compare Speers and this other company and will say simply 'Speers tops them completely' we wish now that we had Speers for that install, it would have saved us a lot of anquish. We recently had the floors in our entire house, including the kitchen replaced with hardwood. As the job was so big, we spent considerable time researching and making sure we found the right team, to complete the job. Our experience, from beginning to end with Speers Flooring was amazing. Peter Ricci was very professional, wonderful to work with, always on time, and very accommodating. The sales people in the store were never pushy, and always had answers to our questions. The installers Joseph and Peter were meticulous, and did an outstanding job, finishing ahead of schedule. The floors look beautiful and I can only rave about our experience. I would highly recommend Speers Flooring to my family and friends. In fact, we were so happy with the quality of customer service and installation that we have now added three additional projects to be completed by Speers in the near future.
