Manuel from Java Electric has worked on my house three times now (house re-wire, kitchen re-wire and pot light installation). Each time he has been extremely professional, trustworthy, polite, and a pleasure to work with. On the latest job he installed pot lights in my living room and front entrance so that they match the rest of the house. His work, as usual, was of the highest caliber and I'm very happy with the job he did. The cost was very reasonable as well. I look forward to asking him back for my bathroom and basement renovations.

Based on the great reviews and reputation that Java Electric has built, my wife and I decided to have Java rewire our home ( Semi approx 1800 sq ft) which had some knob and tube and work that needed to be redone from the previous owners "do it yourself" handy jobs. From start to finish the whole process was stress free. Yunior provided a clear plan based on the needs of our home and took us through it step by step, providing detailed explanations while answering all of our questions and concerns. Yunior provided the confidence we needed by his consistent check ins at the end of each day to review what had been completed and what the next steps would be. Yunior and his team were punctual, professional and efficient with their work. All the holes that were created to pull wires through were unbelievably small and were patched up well at end of the project. They always maintained a clean working environment and cleaned up at the end of each day. The job was completed on time and we were very happy with the electrical work done. We would highly recommend Java Electric to take care of any of your electrical needs.

The electricity to our second floor kept cutting out and we could not flip the breaker. The company I usually deal with did not get back to me so I left messages with about 4 other highly reviewed HomeStars companies to come and take a look. Arnoldo was the first (and only) person to call me back. He came by our house and took a look. He did a thorough examination of all the switches and lighting on the second floor and the electrical panel. He replaced the breaker and explained where the problem was and what we could do to correct it. He was so patient with our many questions! The next day, we had a problem with 2 plugs on the second floor. He came back that evening and fixed the problem at no extra charge. I appreciated his professionalism, thoroughness and willingness to come back so quickly. We will definitely call him again. Thanks Arnoldo!

Java Electric installed a new timer for our sign to turn on and off for the appropriate times. At first it worked for a few months and stopped for some reason later. We called Java about the issue and Antonio came and saved the day. The problem was fixed and now everything is fine again. They were quick to respond and fixed the problem in a timely matter. I'm happy to say the Java Electric is a good reliable company.

This review is a long time in coming. When I first moved into my house 5 years ago the wiring was all aluminum. I wanted to replace and not retrofit the wiring. Java Electric did a wonderful job. Update: I also had Manuel come in and install recessed lights in my kitchen this April. Wonderful job as usual!

I was very pleased with the service provided by Yunior. He was very professional and called to let me know he would arrive a bit late due to traffic. He was very careful not to dirty the hardwood floors in my condo and laid down lots of drop clothes. He also took extra care when drilling holes in the cement ceilings so that the dust didn't spray everywhere. I had one pendant light installed in the bedroom that had no ceiling electrical box. So he ran a wire in the wall from the light switch up to the ceiling and installed a metal conduit across the ceiling, it fits in perfectly with the loft style of the apartment. The second pendant was installed in the dining room, which had to be swagged since the ceiling outlet box was not centered. I'm very satisfied with the work done by Yunior, he estimated 3-4hrs and that's exactly how long it took. I would definitely call on Java Electric again!

Java was the first company to respond to our inquiry and Manuel came out quickly to assess the home to provide a quote. The service was quick and professional. There was virtually zero damage to the walls and ceiling and this is including running additional receptacles, new wiring to existing switches and installing potlights. Everyday debris was cleaned and swept, the house was actually left in a better condition then when they started. Manuel was polite, friendly, and kept us engaged in the project. Once the work began they were dedicated to the competition of the job with no delay. Thanks again we would and will definitely be recommending this company.

I recently contracted Java to replace and have ESA certify my house knob and tube replacement. I have nothing but good things to say about Java. Where do I start...professional, quick, clean, and reasonably priced. Without a doubt they went above and beyond what they needed to do to get the job done. Somebody recommended Manuel when I was in a difficult situation. While renovating the entire kitchen and I got stuck at the phase of installing the pot lights. There is a small attic above the kitchen and the electric company that I hired, a very well known company, stated that there isn't enough room in the attic for their electrician to install the pot lights. Manuel came, assessed the challenge and completed the project even though he had to work in very uncomfortable positions. I was very satisfied! In fact, so pleased with the quality of his work that I brought him back to wire the entire house (coax and cat 6 network cable), to install a few wall switches and rewire the electrical cable, and to install additional pot lights above the fireplaces. I also liked Manuel's professional behavior, can do attitude, and punctuality. The prices were reasonable.
