I was super impressed by the service, the honesty and the personality of Arnoldo, the electrician from Java. It was a small job to fix the wiring for a bathroom fan that had been installed by the really bad home reno guy who had previously owned my home. Arnoldo assessed the problem, told me the costs and said there would be no charge for the visit if I didn't want to proceed. He cleaned up the messy wiring in under an hour and just charged the basic rate of $180. Then after paying him and chatting a bit about his home country, Cuba, I mentioned that the light on my stove-top microwave unit had stopped working. He then spent another twenty minutes fiddling with it before concluding that it must be some sort of shorting problem inside the unit. I offered to pay him for this extra bit of trouble shooting but he refused. Overall I got extremely high quality of service for a very small job. The only small issue I have with the company is that it took them two days to respond to the voice mail I left to inquire about service.

I left a v/mm for Arnold Rudrigo and he called me back within an hour. I explained what I needed and he said he could do it that day as he was just completing a job close to my residence. He arrived at the arranged time. He worked safely and efficiently. He respected my property to ensure that there was no damage and even did more than was necessary putting the fixture together which was a time consuming job. It was a pleasure to see such a pleasant skilled person work.

I had Yunior come in to install 4 light fixtures in my condo. He was very friendly and did an excellent job on the installations. Would gladly hire him again if I need further work done.

Antonio did a superb job replacing 2 old bathroom fans. The price included the fans as well, which he picked up. He stuck to his quote even though extra materials were required for proper venting. He totally cleaned up after as well. I would highly recommend him for any large or small electrical job, and I will use Java if I need any further work in my home. I give him 10/10.

I had the pleasure of having Antonio do electrical work for me in the past and when we decided on doing more work there was no question about it but to have Antonio return. I called him for pot light installation on our upper and main halls, installation of dimmer switches and hanging a chandelier.   ‎ Antonio's work ethic and professionalism is unbelievable and not to leave out his personality, honesty and his partner helping which happens to be his lovely wife.  Their work space was always kept clean even after I insisted that I will clean up. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with his work. I appreciate the fact that he takes the time to explain in detail what he's doing every step of the way. There's not many if any contractors that I would leave in my house alone, but I didn't think twice when I had to step out and run some errands.  The finished product left me speechless as everything was perfect!   Antonio, a HUGE thank you to you and your wife, it was truly a pleasure having you both in our home. ‎

Dear Homeowners, I'm not one to easily hand out excellent reviews but, WOW, Java Electric far surpassed my expectations. They are hands-down one of the best contractor companies I have EVER dealt with. Here's my story ... I needed to install 4 medium-sized light fixtures. When I called, Antonio (the owner) picked up immediately and was very polite and engaged in the potential project. Meanwhile, I called other electricians and they were rude and disgruntled (not someone I want to do business with - no thanks). Based on this, I wanted to give Antonio a shot at earning my business. So we talked about price, options and he even gave me an electrician 101. He was very patient with me as I asked an array of questions. I was sold. He booked me for the upcoming Saturday at 9am and guess what, he and his wife (who assists him) showed up exactly at 9am. I have never had a contractor show up at the time they agreed too! Additionally, after scoping out the project, Antonio told me it would take about 2.5 hours to install the light fixtures, and guess what, it took him 2.5 hours! Throughout the 2.5 hours, they were polite, professional and polished. They would often stop to ask me what I thought of a certain situation (i.e. is the fixture too high/too low, does it look balanced?). It gave me confidence that they didn't take on the job just to make a quick buck and get out of there. They were passionate about his work and dedicated to completing the job to the best of their abilities. Once the job was done Antonio urged me "quick, quick hand me a lightbulb so I can see how it looks!" He's probably installed thousands of light fixtures but treats each one like his first; if you don't think that is passion, tell me what is. It was a pleasure working with Java Electric and I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Happy renovating.

Yunior and his crew did a fantastic job installing our Ceiling fixtures and pot lights. Yunior was very meticulous when he planned the location of the lights. Very reasonable price and always left my home tidy. He has already been referred to friends and family.

Manuel and Miguel installed three ceiling fans for me. They did a superior job. They were quick, thorough, neat, and reasonably priced. I am extremely satisfied. I was especially happy that they installed cross-members between the ceiling joists to provide a solid support to attach each fan to. (In a previous house, I had a fan that was properly wired but poorly mounted and wobbled constantly).They installed the cross-members from the attic rather than from below in order to avoid damage/repair to the drywall ceiling and to minimize the mess in my house. When they left, the ceiling fans worked perfectly, were steady as a rock, and the rooms they had worked in were spotless. They are true professionals. This is the third project that Java Electric has done for me in the past three years (Manuel did two of them and Antonio did one of them). Each time, they were knowledgeable, skilled, and pleasant to have in the house. In every case, they did an excellent and thorough job. I will call on them for any electrical work I need done in future.

Arnoldo did a great job of replacing all our knob and tube, and solving some other electrical problems. He was very thorough and conscientious and offered some helpful cost-saving suggestions. I would definitely ask him back next time we need an electrician.

Manual was on time, polite, very knowledgeable. Easily fixed my previous contractors mistakes (the fan was not secure and could have eventually fallen). Should have used a professional the first time!!!
