When we moved into our century old home we we're told that all knob and tube was removed. But this wasn't the case. Pierre from Java Electric did a thorough assessment and gave a fair quote. Where as other companies charged by electric outlets or light switches, Pierre charged to labour regardless of how many switches / outlets needed replacing. He was great to work!

Manuel and his coworker were very good, I would use Java Electric again. We hired them to: install 6 pot lights, add a dimmer, add a dedicated line to a bathroom, add a dedicated line to an electric fireplace, remove outlet, add outlet, install lights. Biggest negative: it took a week to get a response to calls/emails. Small negatives: they did not totally clean up after themselves (drilled wood shavings, pot light lenses, left some wire behind, pieces of cut wire) and scuffed my freshly painted wall/ceiling (but that I guess is expected).

Yunior answered my call quickly and arrived on time. He worked very efficiently installing electrical box and special receptacle for dryer. Yunior answered all my questions about other electrical work too. Price for work done was very fair. I am a satisfied customer and would recommend Java for all electrical work.

Really great service. Manuel and his partner came right on time, gave a fair estimate, completed the work, and even rewired the ceiling fan for me free of charge, as the cable had run on the inside of the california lighting box. They even took away the old plexiglass and fluorescent tubes. My kitchen looks wonderful, and I'm really happy.

We recently had Java Electric come and replace the knob & tube wiring as well as upgrade the service on our recently purchased house. They quoted very fairly and the amount of work done in the projected time was very impressive. Would have no hesitation recommending Java Electric to anyone and would definitely use them again.

I recently had a light fixture installed by Java Electric. The electrician was prompt, courteous, clean, friendly, enthusiastic about the job and had good suggestions for additional lighting improvements. I highly recommend this company and will be using them as my go to electricians in the future.

Fantastic job from start to finish. Estimate was given on the phone by Yunior the day after I left a message.He came out early the following morning with apprentice Steve and spent the entire day until the job was done. Everything was explained before starting and I felt very comfortable with their knowledge and skill level. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the end result as well as the competitive price. Every effort was made to minimize dust and they did one great job of clean up when they were done.I would highly recommend this company and Junior

We have used Java Electric twice in the last week (2 totally different issues) and we were very please with them both times. Quotes were fair and reasonable, work was done quickly and very well and Manuel was kind and courteous. We intend on recommending them to friends and plan on using them again if the situation ever arises. It's a relief when you find a decent electrician!
