We can't say enough good things about Luc's Roofing, having used this service for the full replacement of two rooves (on two different homes) over the past 15 years. Luc is efficient, reliable, polite, honest, personable, and he guarantees quality workmanship. We believe that whatever job he takes on is sure to meet with the customer's satisfaction. Whenever friends say they're in need of a roofer, we always recommend Luc . . . and only Luc!

We developed a leak following an extremely cold winter and after reading home star reviews called Luc's Roofers. The roof is a difficult one as the house is an historic Victorian with a very steep pitch on a narrow Cabbagetown lot with a large flat roof as well. Luc came and assessed the house carefully, showed us other properties in our neighbourhood which he had done and explained the types of shingles which would be suitable to maintain the character of the building. He was thorough in his estimates and careful in his description of what would be involved. The job began fairly close on schedule with a slight delay due to a rainy week and Ben and his team of three helpers did a great job in every way: Good protection of property, gardens and neighbours, very careful work on both shingled and flat roof, fastidious cleanup every day and professional workmanship through the whole job. They took pride in their work, answered all questions, showed up on time and are pleasant to deal with. The credit goes to your employees, and in particular to Ben who was on site through the entire process and took extra care to make sure the project was done right and ensure the neighbor's property was always kept clean. Luc & Ben did a great job! I found Luc to be friendly, thorough when explaining the job and what our options were, patient and very easy to contact. Ben was equally great, very friendly, answered all my questions, addressed any concerns, etc. I was also very impressed with how hard Ben and his team worked. They left the house looking great and the property clean. The whole experience was as painless as I imagine getting a new roof can be. Conscious of quality, mindful of the customer's priorities, they deliver on time, come prepared ... and more than this, are cheerful in their work, kind to their customers and focus on doing a great job. Not only do I have a beautiful new roof, but my property is in better shape than when they began. I rarely give a service provider a perfect score, but in this case - they've more than earned it.

I found Luc on Homestars, and the glowing reviews encouraged me to contact him about our roof. The reviews are not exaggerated. We were so impressed every step of the way with Luc, Ben and their crew. Luc is very easy to reach (including via e-mail). I was also highly impressed with his speed of response- a number of other companies didn't return our messages for days, or wouldn't bother to show up. Luc was able to turn up within a day of my first getting in touch with him. He provides detailed quotes, with absolutely no surprises, and the price is very competitive. He will talk you through the entire process and answer every question. His son, Ben, and his crew do the actual roof replacement- it was another vote of confidence to know from the beginning of the process who would be in charge, and to know that this was a highly experienced crew. They kept us informed about when the work would start, and how it was progressing. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the new roof looks fantastic. They also took exceptional care with our gardens. We were away when they finished the roof, and looking at the ground you would never have known they'd been there when we returned- the yard was spotless. On top of everything else, Luc and Ben are just really lovely people- very friendly and true professionals. Replacing a roof is a major investment, but we feel confident that we made the right choice. We will be recommending Luc and Ben wholeheartedly to all of our friends and neighbors, and if we ever need a new roof again, we won't call anyone else.

Luc and his brother did our roof 15 years ago, so when we had a minor leak I called him to check it out for repair. He explained that 25 year shingles only last for about 15 years (go figure) so it was time to redo the roof. This time we used 50 year shingles! Luc's son did the job with a team that was punctual, polite and tidy. A job really well done! Thanks guys!
