    roof

    We have used Luc over the past several years for skylight and roof repairs. We have always found him to be immediately responsive and helpful and most importantly RIGHT! about what we needed to do. We had far more expensive quotes detailing repairs that did not need to be done. Every time Luc has fixed a problem, it has been solved. He is very personable, accountable and reasonably priced. Our only regret is that we did not know Luc many years before when we had a new roof put on the addition. We will definitely use Luc any time in the future that we do need a new roof and highly recommend him to our friends for the same.

    New roof and eaves.

    We had a number of quotes and went with Luc, they were not the least expensive, nor the most expensive, and came highly recommended from friends. Luc was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us great advice about what we needed to have done. He gave us an accurate quote. We are happy with the job and the service we have received regarding the completion of a couple minor challenges that needed to be changed.

    Roof Repair

    Go ahead and get a few quotes...then choose Luc's. He won't be the cheapest, nor the most expensive quote you get, but his will be the most thorough. If you really want to understand why it is worth paying a little more, be brave and climb up the ladder and see for yourself the quality of workmanship. Roofing is not a commodity product. Really, if you think about it, a house is nothing more than a roof to start with. If you have a shoddy roof, then nothing else matters. I got 6 different quotes and it became crystal clear to me that Luc's Roofing beat them all hands down. Every item in his quote was detailed line by line with a specific price attached to each step of the process. Most of the other quotes I got were very general. I got one quote that was a full $5000 more than Luc's and it was also the least detailed. I was very, very impressed with Luc, his crews, and the final product. In my informed opinion, it would actually constitute an insult to Luc to try and 'negotiate' his price-believe me, after seeing the job he did, I promise you it is fair. You are already getting value that, unless you go up the ladder and look at the craftsmanship with your own eyes, you won't understand. Trying to save a buck or two from his quoted price is not being a savvy consumer, it is being silly and short-sighted. Well done, Luc and crew. It is really refreshing to find someone with your attitude and professional concern for quality.

    Roofing

    I was extremely satisfied with the service and results I received from Luc’s Roofing. The job was done quickly and efficiently, and the roof looks great. When I first met with Luc he told me that when the crew left I would not know they had been on my property. I thought this was a pretty bold claim at the time — and I have often been disappointed at the mess left behind by others who have done work for me. But Luc was right! When I came home from work the day they finished I couldn’t find a chip of roofing or a stray nail anywhere. It is very clear that Luc takes great pride in doing good work, but especially in having happy, satisfied customers. You can count me as one of those!

    Roofing

    Delivered quote with the timeline exactly as stated. Excellent from start to finish. The cleanup was superb. Cleanliness of worksite was excellent. Customer service response to a question was excellent.

    Roof - shingle and flat

    Choosing any tradesperson is tough but roofers are probably the toughest because unless you've been a roofer, you don't really have a great understanding of the job. We got about 6 quotes to have the shingle and flat roof replaced on our 90-year old semi-detached house. Luc's Roofing's quote was in the mid-upper range. Ben walked us through what needed to be done, helped guide us through shingle colour choices, laid out a work schedule, etc. He was professional and instilled confidence so we went with Luc's Roofing. We were not disappointed. After some weather delays (rain and extreme heat), the crew arrived early in the morning and worked straight through the 3 days. Neighbours have mentioned to me how hard they worked and how focused they were. We had a newborn baby so we were anxious to get the work done as efficiently as possible and the guys delivered. They also left the yard tidy everyday and spotless after the job. The final product is outstanding and attractive. This is a quality company with quality employees. I really do recommend this company. Luc and Ben and the crew: thanks for an outstanding job (and for going above and beyond for us!) and for taking the pain out of this process.

    Racoon roof/wall damage

    We bought a house in East York but the home inspection missed a gaping hole in the side of the house made by a racoon. Luc came by promptly, helped us seal up the hole with sheet metal, and even sealed up a chimney crack, completed a general roof inspection and did it all on the spot without hesitation. Truly awesome service!

    Roofing

    We were extremely happy with all of the work done by Luc’s Roofing. This work entailed roofing not just the house, but an attached carport that – as it turned out – had deteriorated significantly below the surface. First, the existing black shingles of the house were replaced by brown shingles in an overlap pattern that really makes our roof stand out among those of our neighbours. Next, the rotting wood under the existing carport roof had to be removed and new rafters built and installed on the spot – and this in addition to the original work order of removing two skylights and covering them up with plywood. Finally, aluminum siding panels had to be installed to cover the areas where the skylights had been located, as well as an area where the siding had to be bent to remove the rotting wood. All of this work, which was carried out in three separate stages, was done quickly and meticulously, with top quality materials used throughout. An excellent job from start to finish!

    Shingles and flat roof

    Ben responded to a request for quote very quickly and was very detailed in his inspection. The crew appeared to do a good job and cleaned up carefully. Overall I am very happy.

    Shingles, flashing, vents

    I would definitely recommend Luc's Roofing to my friends and neighbours (in fact, I already have). Luc and his team were able to fix my emergency repair immediately, and also did a great job on the re-roof. I will call him again for my next roofing project. I like his spirit and professionalism.
