Call Renaldo to come and drywall basement apartment.Est. $2900.His brother does the installation and Renaldo does the taping.his brother wanted $700.00 more.We agreed $350.00 for extra work that was never done. They were not clean, or dependable, clogged the main sew line in the house with drywall compound.Forgot to cut out for stove vent and heat boots and heat return and drain & pot lights,very rough finish.i would not recommend this company!!

I dry walled my basement to set up an apartment...I'll admit my drywall skills are not the best but Renaldo's mud and taping skills made me look like a professional. He and his team were fast, their price was competitive, and the quality of their work was exceptional. I would recommend them to anyone.

This was an a full Basement with over 80 sheets of drywall and more than 400ft of corner bead (ie, lots of corners and boxes). Reinaldo clearly takes pride in his job, honors his quote, knows his trade and wants to make sure that the final product is something he can be proud of and that will satisfy the homeowner. Schedule a few more days for the job though. Reinaldo gave us a good price, we supplied the material, and he stuck to the quote even after he realized that the job would take a lot more work than anticipated. Giraldo and his assistants came in to put up the drywall and that part of the job was done in 2.5 days, on time. The guys worked hard 10-12 hours and showed up on time at 7:30 am. The Taping portion took quite a bit longer than anticipated, but the final product is very good. I agree with Andrew W from North York: "The only thing I'd say is that they are busy and juggle many jobs at once. So be prepared for them to show up 'around' the time indicated and make frequent visits to finish the tape and mud portion of the job."

Renaldo did a great job taping our kitchen. His price was reasonable, he finished on time, and always called when he was running late. I found Renaldo very reliable and would recommend him.

Hired Renaldo to hang & mud 22 sheets of drywall for a kitchen reno. Walter showed up to hang the drywall and apply the corner bead. This was done fast with tight joints and straight corners. We could not be happier with the board phase. Renaldo then came in and taped and mudded the board. This took the better part 5 days but was worth the wait. The corners were nicely done and the butt joints disappeared. I've since primed and painted the walls and found very little that needed correction. The only thing I'd say is that they are busy and juggle many jobs at once. So be prepared for them to show up 'around' the time indicated and make frequent visits to finish the tape and mud portion of the job. Overall, I've very happy with the job that was done. Just took a few days longer then I expected.

We hired Silva on a Friday as a last minute decision to add some work to our reno. The job was finished by Tuesday, they worked around other work that was being done and did a great job. The price was negotiable and clean pretty good.

There was some water damage to drywall in the hallway ceiling an walls and Silva Drywall did an excellent job in repairing it. He was very flexible with his timing and completed the work within his estimated cost. I would definitely recommend him for any drywall work.

I chose Silva Drywall after reading the reviews on Homestars and I couldn't be more happy with the job they did. Renaldo and his team worked hard and took great care installing a new ceiling in the basement of our home. Although there were lots of awkward nooks and crannies they made the new ceiling look fantastic throughout. Renaldo also noticed our kitchen ceiling which had leaked during a snow melt and graciously fixed it too at no extra charge. I would hire Silva Drywall Taping again without hesitation. Thanks guys!

Poor work and little cleanup are not words I like to use at all, but is this site is to be useful the truth has to be told, and some balance must be added to the glowing reviews, which must be based at least partly on his pleasing personality. We liked Renaldo,but after completion we noticed quite a few ridges and areas that just were not done. I got the painter to finish the job. He did virtually no cleanup, so I had to do that part myself.

We recently completed a complete tear-down and rebuild of our kitchen & pantry in our 100+ year old house. Renaldo and his team did a fantastic job of both drywall and taping. They took their time and paid tremendous attention to detail. I will absolutely be using their services again and would recommend them to friends.
