    Eavestrough Replacement

Pierce from Tip Top came to our house to quote us on replacing our eaves troughs, he was punctual and got back to us quickly with a competitive quote. The job was completed on time and in budget with no issues, not much more I could ask for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with any exterior aluminum job of any type.

    downpipe remove and replace

Trough online and called them for some advice. I set up a meeting with Pierce for a Saturday afternoon and was surprised when he called me to say he wouldn’t be able to make it and hoped to reschedule for the next morning. I was surprised because I have dealt with many a company who set meetings but never show and NEVER call. The next day we met and he explained that my 2.5” x 2.5” downpipe was not moving enough volume during the heavy rains and was leading to the waterfall effect. We booked him to install new large rectangle downpipe across the house. Pierce and his crew were quick, matched the color exactly and left no mess. 100% Professional Company.

    Gutter installation

I live in LA for 10 months out of the year and manage some family property here in Toronto. To say that I needed to trust the contractor I was going to hire was an understatement. I wouldn’t see the finished product for months after the installation so I wanted a reliable, word-of-mouth company. I was referred to Tip Top Trough by a close friend who used them to install new soffit and fascia and new eavestrough on their newly renovated home in Forest Hill. I contacted Pierce who made me feel at ease with what I wanted done. He emailed my estimate that same week and by the end of the month I had new eavestrough and downpipes on the building, with before and after pictures to boot. Thanks for a great job guys!

    Clean and repair

When you sell houses for a living I can’t stress enough the importance of curb appeal. I use Tip Top Trough to clean out and repair the eavestroughs on the homes I market. It makes a big difference when I am showing a house with a small forest growing out of the eaves or a house that was just serviced by Tip Top Trough. Their attention-to-detail keeps me coming back every time! FYI – Homeowners can recoup their investment in new eavestrough when trying to sell your home. New eavestrough spruces up the entire exterior of a home and you can tack the cost onto the sale price of the house!

    Copper Downpipe disconnection

In August 2006 my wife and I were thrilled when we bought our first new home straight from the builder himself. The house was beautiful on the inside and out….or so we thought. Two years after moving in we get a huge flood in our basement, the water was pouring in from the basement walls and soaked everything….a real nightmare for those who have never had the pleasure. Our Water proofer suggested we disconnect our downpipes to prevent any potential repeat and conveniently we received a flyer from Tip Top Trough in the mail. They were able to disconnect the custom copper downpipes and exit them in convenient locations around the entire house. Their work was impeccable and the copper looks great!

    Gutter Cleaning

Tip Top Trough cleaned our eavestrough two weeks ago and did a great job. They were quick with their quote, fair with their price and didn’t leave a mess. I had seen one of the pipes leaking water and wanted to make sure that it was not broken. They actually ended up dismantling the pipe and clearing it out – for no additional charge. Fair and honest, two great qualities in a contractor! 10 +

carpentry work, eaves, soffit and fascia supply and install

I own a small property management company that looks after and rents out income properties for out-of-town clients. Last year after a disastrous roofing installation, I contacted Tip Top Trough to quote me on new soffit, fascia and eavestrough. The only reason I knew of the disastrous roofing installation is because Pierce brought it to my attention. He documented several things about the roofing installation and provided me with digital pictures of their shoddy work and mess. He did this on his own time without a financial agreement from me. Tip Top Trough did a great job on strengthening our rafters, replacing the wood fascia and installing new eaves soffit and fascia aluminum. The pictures are my ace in the hole when I go to court this summer against the roofers. Highly Recommended!

    de-icing cables supply and install

I had Tip Top Trough install de-icing cables for me in Fall 2008 before that really heavy winter. They worked like a charm and are still in their shape. You see a lot of roof cables on houses that are loose and sloppy I think it looks terrible when it look like a drunk electrician installed them. Anyway Tip Top was well priced but the value from their quality installation is what made me really happy. Thanks Pierce.

    Trough re-secure

My husband and I bought our first house a year ago in one of the new sub divisions in Thornhill Woods. Imagine our disappointment when coming home one night from a party we found our eavestrough hanging from our roof and water soaking our garage roof. I remembered seeing a sign at a neighbor’s house about eavestrough repair so I quickly got in the car and went to write down the number. I was so nervous about the hanging eavestrough I called them right from the car. It was Sunday night at 9pm and I left a very frantic message on the voice mail. I received a call from Tip Top Trough the next morning at 7 am and they were at our house that afternoon. Not only did they fix the eavestrough but he promised me that the part they repaired would never come down again as long as I own the house. Thanks Tip Top!

    Eavestrough cleaning

My wife hired Tip Top Trough to clean our eavestroughs. Immediately I noticed something different, they were NOT putting the ladders on our eavestrough. They used these prongs to rest the ladder on the roof, keeping our eavestrough undamaged. After a thorough hand cleaning of the eaves, they then proceeded to flush the entire eavestrough with water and then re-tightened all the eavestrough to the roof. I was very impressed and would recommend them to anyone who wants their eavestroughs cleaned right.
