    Garage insulation

I contacted several companies that provide garage insulation services, and I choose Andrew because he was the most prompt in visiting my house for an estimate. After I decided to hire him, the work was done promptly and professionally.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you very much for your kind review. We are happy that we have improved your comfort of your home. Our goal is always to treat our Customers as we would wish to be treated ourselves. Sincerely, The Foam Factor Team.

    Basement Insulation

Date of Job Jan 28/2011 We currently are renovating our entire house including the basement. Part of this renovation included insulating our basement walls. In early January Andrew (President of Foam Factor) came to the house to quote on our job; his was one of three quotes we got. The other two quotes were also from Homestar companies. While the representatives from all three companies were conscientious and professional Andrew brought just a little bit more to the table. Specifically in early January when we were framing our walls Andrew made suggestions on how we should frame the walls to get a better result. In the course of our conversation I shared with Andrew that both my wife and I were leery of spray foam insulation because a spray foam Insulation Company out of Niagara Falls (If you do your homework you will find out who they are) caused a fire that destroyed my previous house in May of 2008. Andrew is involved in the regulatory body that oversees reputable spray foam companies and he told me (where the insurance adjusters couldn’t) what caused my fire. He told that you can’t put any more than 1 ½” of foam at a time because of the heat that it generates. The fact that he understood his product and his industry put both my wife and I at ease. In terms of the timing of our project Andrew was able to accommodate our schedule on very short notice and his application technician Greg was both capable and courteous. Lastly Andrew’s quote was very competitive so I would not hesitate to refer both friends and family to Foam Factor. Sincerely, Clint Harder North York, ON

Several Jobs - all types of renos

Since day one I've used Andrew and his guys. He's upfront and no BS about his product and service. His guys are great and efficient and always on time, in and out. My clients love how Foamfactor adds to their renos and footprint. It will be tough for me to go elsewhere. 2LB is where its at and more people should listen up and do some homework. It's not all about that walking talking clueless and most unoriginal monkey on TV, blue or purple foam are not the only ones out there. HCR

    Answer from pro:

Manny, As always we enjoy working on any of your projects. They are always creative and very professionally executed. We love to work with and surround ourselves with Contracting Professionals that also take pride in their work and craftsmanship. Thanks again, The Foam Factor Team.

    Spray Foam insulation

Best Spray foam provided a detailed estimate which outlined their product and expertise. Made sure I was familiar with the difference between 2 pound insulation and cheaper versions of spray foam. Extremely reasonable rates compared to other applicators and they performed the work in an efficient manner with no mess! My heating bill was cut in half after the application! Would highly recommend Andrew Cole and Best Spray Foam Insulation to anyone looking to cut heating and AC costs, they are very knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with.

    Answer from pro:

Vince, Your cottage was a wonderful project for us. We knew that you would see immediate cost savings on your heating bills. The fibreglass just does not cut it today with the ever increasing fuel costs that home owners will be facing. Thank you for taking the time from your busy day to share your experience on working with us. Word of mouth is our best marketing.

Spray Foam Insulation for a certain section in the basement

After doing my research on what form of insulation would be best for a section of the basement that was prone to more humidity and energy leakage, I decided on getting spray foam insulation in that section. After getting quotes from a few operators, I zeroed in on Foam Factor because I found Andrew to be extremely knowledgeable and to the point. His crew was extremely professional and knew their job well. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome and would recommend Andrew and his Foam Factor team to anyone looking to get foam sprayed.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you very much for your positive reference. Everyday we approach our work with the knowledge that we are going to improve someones home and give them a lifetime of comfort. We hope you enjoy the basement space for years to come.

    Spray Foam House

Andrew was knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on time to provide an estimate and always returned my calls when I had questions about the job. His crew arrived on time and went above and beyond the scope of the job, assisting me with cleaning the wall crevices before spray foaming. The work was perfect and I know that my family will really feel the effects of going with this insulation in the winter and summer months. It was a real pleasure dealing with Foam Factor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family!

    Answer from pro:

Thank you Faye. We are very proud of our team members. We hire the best and pay them accordingly. While others may try to economize on labour costs. We feel that the skill of our sprayers are the heart and soul of our business. The chemical costs of foam are very high. If installed incorrectly, you can have a very expensive and poor performance level job. It just does not pay to economize on the talent. More Customers should be concerned with who is installing the product equally as much as what is being installed. Thanks again, The Foam Factor Team.

Foam insulation application on an exterior 200000L tank

It was a difficult job of foam application in very cold weather. They were persistent and did a very good job. They came back to finish in warmer weather for the UV protection applicatin without any followup.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks very much Vikas. Working at your plant was a great opportunity for our team to stretch themselves from the routine of residential work. We are always happy to expand our core competencies and work to solve problems for our Clients. The Foam Factor Team.

We found Andrew while searching for an earth friendly foam for one of our clients. He really knows his stuff, I'm pleased to have found him in the sea of foam contractors out there. Unfortunately for home owners his services are for contractors only. The foam makes a big differecne in the bassement Thanks Andrew.

    Answer from pro:

Thank you very much for the positive review. One clarification point, we do work for home owners directly. Most of our work will encompass new build, or major addition, we do find homeowners will benefit from garage foam in rooms above, basement walls and headers, etc. We service the entire southern Ontario Market.
