When our family pursued a home renovation, Reiner (the Reno Coach) provided consultation services. Since our family was not familiar with all the requirements and regulations associated with a renovation, Reiner provided much needed business counsel and advice. For example, Reiner provided direction on how to effectively navigate the permit process. In addition, Reiner leveraged his vast network to provide options on sourcing the appropriate contractors, designers, and specialists. Reiner also provided helpful advice on appropriate venting, ductwork, and heating / cooling options. He consistently kept an eye on the cost and scheduling to ensure that the overall project remained within budget and was completed within a reasonable time. Overall, we had a tremendously positive experience working with Reiner (the Reno Coach). Thanks for all your insights and support throughout the process.

Reiner was a huge benefit for our large scale home reno (addition for my in-laws and complete interior remodel.) We've waited to post a review to see how the project was after wear and tear of family life, and we couldn't be happier. He was organized and responsive which helped us as first time renovators navigate the process. Reiner is critical at the front end in getting drawings done, designers selected and finally choosing a GC. He has groups of each to choose from and cut down on some leg work which was great. Reiner was also key to getting approvals with the city (no small task.) As the project progressed Reiner showed his worth by providing remedies to a few unexpected issues (a staircase that needed to move) that saved us a good deal of money. He has a great deal of experience and knowledge which is a huge plus for you as he is your asset and ally. He made a huge job manageable and far less of a headache than it certainly could have been. I would and have recommended Reiner/ Reno Coach to colleagues and friends. It was great to work with him.

Reiner - the Reno Coach - was fantastic and an integral part of our two story build from digging down our basement to building our two story house. His expertise and experience helped us at all stages. He provided us with great contractor options. He provided expert advise to us and the builders. He was an invaluable advocate to ensure our build was the best it could be. Finally, as a person who knows nothing about home construction, he reduced our stress ten fold as we could count on speedy responses and thorough answers to all of our questions. Moreover, for those wanting an energy efficient build he is knowledge is unsurpassed.

The scope of our project was extensive, requiring us to move out for 6 months (March 2018 - Sept 2018). We live in east end Toronto, (Coxwell/Danforth area), our home is semi-detached and approx 80 years old. Work completed: basement lowering 3 story extension out the back, main and second floor remodeling. We connected with Reiner very early on, knowing we had no basis of knowledge to move such a huge project on our own. We are so glad we did. His network of designers, contractors and architects were all excellent and worked well together. Reiner was also essential to getting us through the committee of adjustments in conjunction with our design architect. He further connected us to our underpinner, designer, and general contractor. All were excellent. Reiner was also very helpful in moving issues along and providing advice/options. He was careful to be impartial when it came to selecting vendors - he presented us with options and left the choice to us. He also assisted reviewed contracts, making helpful suggestions as needed. Overall, we would highly recommend Reiner. Our reno was smooth and delivered on time. The end result is something my family and I benefit from every single day. Thank you Reiner!

We did a major, year long renovation to our home in the Beaches. Reiner handled obtaining bids, helped with choosing contractors and then did a great job in making sure things went well throughout the renovation. He is extremely knowledgeable and we are very happy to have had him assisting with this renovation.

We have no hesitation in recommending The Reno Coach. Having undergone previous projects/renovations where we were unhappy with contractors and results, led us to enlist Reiner's help. From the initial obtaining of permits (and subsequent COA process), to the completion of our projects, Reiner connected us with the best people and was involved as little or as much as we needed him to be. Reiner was very helpful with our reno. Even though our reno was considered relatively small compared to the work that Reiner typically does, he was instrumental in getting Committee of Adjustment approval and hiring the right contractor for the job. Would use him again!!

We really enjoyed working with the Reno Coach and diverted many potential disasters for doing so. They fully understand the infrastructure of obtaining permits, handling Committee of Adjustment cases and choosing the right contractor for your job. It may feel like an extra expense, but your investment will save you much more money in the long run!
