Update: Brandon came back and was on time. Solid work that exceeded expectations and a price that was very reasonable and blow what I thought I might have to pay. Installed new home opener system , 2 car remotes, an external keypad, internal control, and a little doohickey that lets me know if my door was closed (YAY! - you have no idea how many times I wearily stumbled down the stairs after going to bed to verify I had in fact closed it) - what a Godsend. They were awesome last time and the second experience was completely consistent with the first. (Read on for the original posting) My garage door jammed today at the worst possible time. I called Chris at Markham Garage doors (who I found through Homestars) and because of my situation they did their best to get out and help. In less than an hour Brandon showed up and unmangled my wires which had popped off and got wound up. He was fast and informative and I I asked him about replacement openers (both mine died) and I knew the opener was 20 years old so now he'll be back tomorrow to replace the whole unit as well. He gave me a great product suggestion and covered every aspect - easy to make a decision with a knowledgeable, low pressure hands on chap. Excellent communication, very reasonable prices and exceptional service. Thanks to Homestars these guys were my first call and I had to look no further. Chris - Brandon - thanks for bailing me out!!! I have nothing but great things to say about Markham Garge Doors. I went their showroom and met them there to get a feel of the products they carry. I liked the Haas Carriage Doors but wanted to see the colours they had. I wanted to deal with someone I could trust and they made me feel very comfortable with their service from the initial meeting....I had one of them come to my house to look at my garage and to give me a price on installation. After getting a good feel of their honesty and their customer service skills I decided to move forward with them. I had met 5 other companies and did not get the same level of service. Not only where they the most competitive when it came to pricing, they threw in upgraded handles for free. I highly recommend this company!!!!

The company came to my house on time according to our appointment and installed 2 garage doors and did a perfect job. The next week, the company came back and installed a front door with two glass panels. The front door matched the 2 garage door and the work was done great. The garage doors and the front door have changed the look of the house dramatically. Everyone comments on how great all three doors look. I would recommend this company to everyone. Also, when I dealt with this company, they were very professional and the price charged was very reasonable.

Recently my son closed our garage door with my trunk still open. I called Markham Garage Doors who installed our new doors about two years ago. It was late on Friday night so they sent someone out on Monday morning. The two gentlemen who came where so polite. They fixed the door and explained everything to me and even helped with another small request. Amazing service!!!

Recently during a cold spell, our garage door spring broke and we could not open the door. Besides the spring, each year since its installation, we have had a problem with this same door when the weather turns cold. That is, the door would only go up part of the way. We had several garage repair services come to fix the later issue but the issue kept repeating each year. Markham Garage Door not only responded very quickly to our request to fix the spring but also resolved our other issue. The later issue was due to improper setting for the door on the original installation. I would absolutely recommend them not only for their excellent repair work but their professional and positive attitude toward customers. It was a pleasure to deal with them.

I hired Markham Garage Doors to replace a very old garage door and install a garage door opener. The process was so effortless and the pricing is very competitive. From my first meeting with Kevin at their showroom, to arranging for a quote for the work to the installation, Kevin and his team at Markham Garage Doors were professional, followed up in a timely manner and always punctual! The quality of work was exceptional. My husband and I love the new door and the convenience of the LiftMaster system. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

This is a great company with skilled, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Kevin and Chris came to fix our garage doors in the Summer when the springs and rollers came off. They clearly explained to us what's wrong, and warned us that the doors (came with the builder) might not last long. Two months later our doors just stopped working and we had to get new ones. We were choosing between two companies and decided to go with Kevin. He answered all our questions quickly and assured us that the installers would all be experienced and trained. Their price was very reasonable and they didn't push us for anything extra. Brandon and Ryan came to install the doors and they were fast, professional and even child friendly! My little children insisted in watching and kept asking questions. They were patient and didn't get annoyed and even gave them a high five! Don't need to waste time to get quotes from other companies! Just go with Kevin and his team!

Markham Garage doors help me fixed my garage door that was not working properly. The doors were squeaking, the garage door was rumbly and very loud. After the repair, the garage is nice and quiet, no more squeaking and I can finally sneak home at night without waking anybody up

Markham Garage Doors installed two insulated single doors for me on a cold January day. Order ncluded new doors, rails, aluminum trim around door frame and seals, along with reconnecting to existing garage door openers. They did a great job. It is one year later now and everything still looks good and works the way it should. All the old wooden door pieces and hardware were removed as part of the service. No cleanup required on my part. Very happy with quiet operating doors.

On Dec 26th I left a message that our elderly Aunt was having a garage door problem. By 10 a.m. Dec 27th your tech arrived, well groomed and neatly dressed and serviced the door. What great service and the price was so reasonable. Your scores tells it all. Keep up the good work guys.
