He is the very professional and has a very demeanor. He pays a lot of attention to details. If you have any plumbing problems, you must call Valentin, and you won't regret it. My kitchen sink drain was flowing slowly for the past few weeks, and we tried chemical detergents such as Draino but nothing works. Finally the drain started to back up and was completely clogged. I called three plumbers to get an estimate. All of them came and check, one estimated $1300 he suggested to clean the pipes with power jetting. The second one suggested three ways of solving the problem but he sounded very unsure of what he was doing and he estimated at least $500 and up. Finally I called Valentin, he is the only one who was able to explain to me clearly what the problem might be and what he suggested to do and gave me an estimation right away on the phone about $300. He was on time, checked the problem and explain to me and started working right away. After 15 minutes we heard the sound of water flowing and he tested twice with me to make sure that the drain was really unclogged. He also gave me some suggestions to prevent future clogging. After he was done working he kept my kitchen clean. Overall, I have nothing but praise for Valentin, price, efficiency, quality even his attitude was great. If there are any future problems, I will not hesitate to call him and recommend him to all my friends.

When I contacted Strong Plumbing I was pleasantly surprised that Valentin go back to me the same day. He was ready to come by on that same day as well. He was prompt and friendly when he arrived. He estimated an hour and it took maybe 50 mins. - I was barely late for work! Valentin exceeded my expectations! He took time to explain the necessary fixes and also took time to explain another issue that I had not realized was going to be a future problem. Valentin of Strong Plumbing was professional, courteous and very down-to-earth. This will not be my last call to him! It is so nice to find a reliable trade person who takes the time to explain what he is doing and then proceed to do the job both professionally and efficiently.

I rarely enter reviews online, as I believe that there is an expectation of excellence that comes with all hires professions & trades, however Val of Stong Plumbing exceeded my expectations. He was prompt, communicative, suggestive and took measures to ensure his work had no issues even once he was done and gone. Professional and courteous, and even funny! Do not hesitate to call him for his help.

This was a very critical review. I can't find a way to delete it, so I've updated it. Valentin came and replaced my kitchen and bathroom taps 25 months ago. About 16 months ago, we had the lead service replaced with copper. The city's contractors allowed pebbles to get into the lines. These small rocks cracked the faucet, causing it to leak a lot. Unfortunately, Valentin was out of the country dealing with family matters when I called and emailed him, so I didn't get a response. He eventually got back to me to let me know he'd deal with it when he returned. He rearranged his work, came to the house, and installed a faucet I had bought. Without charge. He also replaced the shut off valves that didn't shut off anything. Nice guy. I wish I'd known he was out of the country dealing with a crisis.

Our home's original clay pipes from 1955 were full of roots and had started to collapse when we called on Valentin. He was busy, but managed to squeeze us in so the pipes could be cleared (as a temporary fix). He was patient and explained what was happening under the foundation. He scoped the pipes before and after removing some of the blockages, explaining that we needed to replace all of the underground pipes. His crew came in the following week to replace all of the sewage pipes, right back to the stack (which has been upgraded to PVC). They were extremely neat and courteous. They tarped the walls and sealed off the work area to limit the amount of dust and dirt being transferred to other parts of the house. They explained everything that they were doing along the way, and are clearly very capable professionals. The new pipes are performing as expected, the concrete work has started to cure, and we are relieved that our sewage system is working as it should. Val and his team did a great job and we recommend them without hesitation.

We were having problems with an old kitchen faucet that leaked and faulty shutoff valves. I tried replacing the faucet cartridge but that didn't fix the problem. We reached out to Valentin based on the reviews here and are glad we did. He replied to us within minutes and provided an accurate quote based on photos he requested. He was very punctual, reliable, professional and such a pleasant person to deal with. He made the neceesary repairs in no time and provided cost efficient solutions to other inquiries we had. Not once did he try to upsell us on services we didn't require. I highly recommme Valentin and won't hesitate to call him when we next have a need for a plumber.

A year after my basement renovation, our sump pump started smelling bad. Valentin came soon after I called him and said the installation hadn't been done quite right, and there was stagnant water at the bottom, which was causing the smell. There was also the possibility that a little water from the sewage pump was leaking into the sump pump (a scenario we hoped wasn't the case) but he said he was pretty sure it was a problem with the sump pump. He upgraded the sump pump, installed a better backwater valve and cleaned the pit. He was amazing! He came back later that day with all the materials and left it perfect. What could have been a disaster was solved efficiently and honestly. Valentin is kind, pleasant and good-natured! A pleasure to have him work at our house.

Our pipes were backed up with a massive tree root ball. Valentin scoped the pipes and determined that the pipes would need to be replaced as they were still old clay pipes. He did not recommend just clearing the roots as the problem would just come back in a short time. The work was done efficiently and with high quality, and with detailed explanation of what needed to be replaced and how. He did not want to just patch up the pipes, as he knew we'd be unhappy once the next roots took hold. He recommended that we replace the pipes with new ones. His price was in line with other quotes we received. He came highly recommended from friends of ours and we would highly recommend Strong Plumbing for any major plumbing issue. It has been 6 months since the work was done and we have had no issues since. Thanks Val!

Had an issue with the main drain and Val came in short notice, and show up promptly at the time he communicated. He scoped the pipes, showed and explained to me what the issue was and what needs to be done. Price was very reasonable and will definitely use his services again in the near future. The experience was totally different than other plumbing services I had used in the past. Definitely recommend Strong Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

We called Valentin regarding a backup issue we had. He was extremely prompt and friendly with his communications. He came to diagnose the problem the following day. He was also the best priced of 3 quotes we got. Once we agreed to the terms, Valentin and his crew started immediately the next day. The job was done with great care to our front garden (digging and removal of tree was required to install the valve) and everything was placed back as they had found it. They cleaned everything before they left. Great experience, would highly recommend.
