Our upstairs bathtub faucet wasn't getting any hot water. Because we didn't use the tap we never really noticed it until now. I tried to research and solve the problem as best I could including installing a new cartridge/balancing spool, but it still didn't work. I saw the reviews on Homestars, and contacted Valentin who was very accessible via email. He came over exactly on time, explained exactly what was wrong, and fixed it right away at a reasonable price. This is truly a master plumber. A timely, professional expert. I would recommend him to everyone.

Valentin did a wonderful job repairing a running/leaking toilet that two other plumbers had been unable to fix. He arrived on time, communicated frequently and clearly and was a pleasure to work with.

We had to replace our water pipes because of the City of Toronto water meter program. Our galvanized pipes were falling apart. Valentine was able to give us a quote with e-mailed pictures which worked out really well for us. -- his quote was accurate! Valentine's team went above and beyond what was expected. We had the basement drain back up and learned we needed to have the concrete dug up and pipes replaced. we received 2 other quotes from "Reputable" plumbing quotes that quoted more than $1,000 more than Strong quoted. Also, the jobs that the other 2 plumbing companies quoted us for were unnecessary according to Valentin. Valentin and I communicated through e-mail and he was very responsive answering all of my questions. His initial quote was exactly what he said, he showed up 20 minutes early, and the concrete guy he had come in was amazing. They were very professional, did the job, and kept us informed along the way. When they were done, they cleaned the site and that was it. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

Valentin was fantastic. Was able to come out quickly to replace my leaking faucet. Communicated well to let me know when he was arriving. Great work, and nice guy too, can't say that for the person we had install our dishwasher! Will definitely the first on my list if/when I need plumbing work done!

My house is 180 years old and I've owned it since 1985. Over the past 28 years, plumbing jobs have accumulated but I never got to them. I did my own repairs (not very good) and put up with some stuff that was less than perfect. I had Valentin come to bring stuff up to a good standard. He did a great job. If I had to highlight one or two things that stand out in his work I would have to say it is how careful a worker he is and how neat his work is. He also worked very quickly -- there was a lot of work to do. I could not be more happy with the job that he did. I would recommend him to anyone. I should also mention that he was very clear in providing an estimate and looked for the most economical solutions to the plumbing problems I had.

After reviewing the glowing HomeStars recommendations, I called Valentin at Strong Plumbing to arrange for the replacement of shower faucets. Valentin proved to be every bit as good as he was described. He answered my calls immediately, saved me money by being able to save many of the original faucet parts, was punctual, polite, and extremely professional. While at my place, he was quickly able to deal with a couple of other small but annoying problems as well. I would whole-heartedly recommend Valentin for any house-hold plumbing problems.

I contacted Strong Plumbing yesterday and today Valentin came buy to repair our problem. He was very professional, courteous, efficient. I had a few small thing I was worried about, he explained how I could fix a couple myself (showed me how and told me what would be needed) he fix the leak and all that in a timely manner! Valentin was professional, easy to work with, and very helpful. While the repair work was ultimately fairly minor he still took the time to show me what he was doing and how to make similar repairs in the future. A very easy, straightforward, and ultimately pleasant experience.
