I called Valentin to fix a shower faucet leak. He showed up the next morning, took his time to explain what was the problem, and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I also hired him to install a new water service and update the main drain. Once again, his work was awesome. I highly recommend Valentin: he is trustworthy, meticulous, and a very talented plumber!

A slow leak at an elbow joint in a bathroom water-supply pipe was steadily worsening after I'd made an unsuccessful attempt to fix it myself. I called Valentin one evening and, even though it was far from a crisis, he showed up first thing the next morning. The problem was the renovator's hasty pipe fitting and crude, patchy welding, that was obvious to anyone. But Valentin gave a very reasonable cost estimate at the outset of the job and replaced a considerable section of the original pipe, creating a clean, smooth solder that made the original work look ridiculously amateurish. Not a nick or spill inside the cabinet. He even gave me some helpful welding tips in case I tried to play Mr. Fix It again down the road.

We had problems with a blockage in our sink for many months. We live in a condo and the on-site maintenance people couldn't find the problem. Val immediately knew what needed to be done. He had to cut into the cupboard and pipes but did a very neat job and cleaned up thoroughly, with great regard for the floors and counter tops etc. He discovered wood debris that had been stuffed into the pipe by a construction worker (see attached photos). Val was prompt at contacting me and showed up when he said he would. He is professional, polite and also did an excellent job. I would rate him a 15 out of 10 if I could!!

This is the second time I hired Valentin, this time to remove 2 old toilets in my older home and install 2 new Kohler toilets. There was a challenge in the basement because the clearance from the hole to the back wall was a bit short and Valentin persevered, removed a baseboard and installed the fancy new toilet. I am very pleased with not only his work, which is excellent, but his work ethic. He is prompt, hard-working and an exceptional plumber who really knows his business. Highly recommended!

I called Strong Plumbing based on the great HomeStars ratings and Valentin showed up promptly to fix two leaking hot water taps that had been repaired over and over again in the past by a variety of companies. He replaced the cartridges and the seats, which he explained were the real problem with my chronic leaking taps. He was super fast, clean and very personable. (my tenant liked him too and that's always important when you rent out apartments) I will definitely use this company again for any future plumbing in my old Victorian house.

This man came to replace a cartridge in my bathroom faucet and he showed up with everything he needed to do the job...all I needed to tell him the make and model and he was ready to go. He was so clean and tidy he even had those paper slippers to cover his outside shoes.... I would highly recommend this guy

I had a clogged drain at home and called Valentin after searching on Internet. I made a good choice because he responded promptly to my urgent call and dealt with the problem fast and efficient. I will definetely call him again for any plumbing and draining jobs that will come up!

I have been using Valentin's plumbing services for a number of years now. I have my own property to look after as well as a second, tenanted, property which seems always to need attention. I have found Valentin to be invaluable. I am always impressed with his skill and knowledge, but his talent for doing an excellent job completely and with care and honesty is what makes him special. I have never had to call him back to a job for a failure or fault. Valentin is a true 'Star'!

We noticed that it appeared that we had a leak somewhere in the house. After reading the reviews on Homestars, I called Valentin. All the reviews were right. From my first contact with him, I was impressed. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, friendly. He listened with patience and thoughtfulness, asked questions to try gain insight into the problem and assess the situation and then said he could come the following day (Good Friday). He called when he was on route and arrived on time. In person he was as wonderful as he was on the phone. He took his time and very thoroughly and carefully checked all the plumbing in the house (he even dug up and checked the old water pipe we had in the garden) to try to detect the leak. He was very patient with all our questions and with his experience and knowledge offered his advice. I would highly recommend Valentin to anyone who is looking for a great plumber. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable, honest, hard working, meticulous, and it's obvious that he takes pride in his work. I wish that there was more people like him. Thanks Valentin!

Recently moved into a resale home, which has some minor plumbing needs. Leaking faucet in garage and a cracked drain pipe. I called Valentin based on the strong recommendations on Homestars an I was not dissappointed. On time courteous and fixed the issues the same day. He even listened to my concerns and provide cost effective options. He also took the time to inform of how to use and operate certain sections of my household plumbing system I didn't even know existed! I will definitely have Valentine back as I continue to work on my home. Expect the best.
