Reading all the reviews here, I would only be repeating all the great comments if I were to go into detail on the job performed. Everything written in the reviews here already is 100% true. Floorwood Solutions met all my expectations and more. Robert and Darek are perfectionists who take great pride in their work and don't cut any corners. They were also great help with advice on some of the work I was undertaking myself. Patricia was a great help as well helping with the coordination and providing information. The intallation was Vintages Hand Scraped Hickory, 5" Old Mission You won't be disappointed if you engage Floorwood to do your job.

I searched for a good hardwood floor installer for a long time before we got ours installed. I read lots of good reviews of Floorwood and saw lots of pictures of their finished products. Price is a little bit higher this year compared to when I first got quotes from them sometime last year, but we still wanted the best of the best and decided to hire Robert and his crew. Both Patricia and Robert were very informative and professional. Robert and his crew installed hardwood on over 700 sq.ft within 2 days. The quality was just amazing that we were already very happy after the first day's work. Our dining room floor wasn't level, and Robert even sanded it down to level as much as he could before installing hardwood in the room. The whole house looks amazing with the new floor and we know that it's not just because it's hardwood but also a great installation. We've got lots of compliments from anyone who visited the house or saw pictures. We just love our new floor. We've been recommending Floorwood Solutions to our friends and neighbours, and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Everyone we dealt with at Floorwood was AMAZING. We received a lot of guidance and information about the wood (these guys only use the best!), the quote was super competitive and Robert, Darek and Sebastian did a fantastic job on the install. I'm so impressed with the attention to detail and custom made transition pieces (no t-caps!), our floor is beautiful!

Found Robert on Red Flag Deals. He maintains a thread there and offers help and advice. He answered all of our questions quickly and promptly and we knew we wanted him to install our floors. You can trust that his advice is honest. We hired him to install flooring in our family room. We had already purchased the wood, but in hindsight we wished we found him prior to our purchase as he is VERY knowledgable on the many different types of flooring products available in the market. I am convinced he is one of the best installers in the GTA. He is a perfectionist. He found a very tiny dent in one of our boards after he nailed it down and insisted on removing it. He took his time creating reducers so that they met up perfectly with the adjoining ceramics in our kitchen. I could go on and on. All I can really say is if you hire him, you will have a perfectly installed floor by a professional who loves his job. We do not regret our decsion at all. We are thrilled with our room!

Found these guys on Redflagdeals. They are well respected there and have one of the largest hardwood flooring threads on the site. Robert and Darek are true professionals that take pride in their work. Patricia is also a pleasure to work with as well. Thanks guys for a job well done. They did the hardwood floors for the entire house in natural maple. My floors look great and I'm completely satisfied with their work. I would definitely recommend Floorwood Solutions to any of my friends.

Hello, Am very pleased with their service, and the quality of their work. They're meticulous attention to detail (sanding down the plywood for a seamless transition to varithaning a wet cast stone hearth) was very much appreciated. Details we didnt think of as homeowners. They spent the day working on a 380 sq.ft. floor and didnt rush the job or treat it any less than a larger project. I have provided some pictures to illustrate what the final rooms look like as well as how tight their work is against the wall and the transitions as well. I hope you find them helpful. The house is still in transition. I'm sure you can appreciate the window coverings. LOL A big HUGE thank you to Patricia, Robert and Derek, as well as Derek's nephew (whom I forgot his name I'm sorry!). We are extremely pleased by the work that Floorwood Solutions did for us. Not only do, our floors look beautiful, but the price was extremely good and were installed by a team of professionals. They even helped us to match the colour of the existing staircase in our home. We would definitely recommend this company and will call them again when we are ready to install hardwood in the rest of our home.

I obtained a total of four quotes that also had good ratings based on Homestar feedback. Robert answered all my questions and gave me confidence in his craftmanship. Though his quote was not the cheapest, it wasn't the most expensive either; it did represent a merger of both excellent product quality and service installation. Six reasons why I would hire Floorwood Solutions again: 1) Timeliness: project started and ended as per our agreement. 2) Responsiveness: addressed my on-the-spot concerns during the project. 3) Accuracy: raising of the staircase nosing, the fit of the pieces is seamless. WOW! 4) Clarity: Contract spelled out exactly what the job entailed so there was no misunderstandings. Also, dealing with Robert as both the salesman/installer made sure there would be no mis-communication that would sometimes occur between salesman to installer and homeowner. 5) Courtesy: Robert and Darek were courteous and professional. 6) Knowledgeable: Robert and Darek would on occassion stop installing and sand the floor in certain spots as it wasn'tlevel (I wonder how many other contractors would do this?). Also, Patricia has a hardwood flooring forum on redflagdeals.com My plans are to hire them next year to do our 1st floor!

Floorwood solutions was great! They are professional and friendly. Robert even came to my newly built house before I took ownership to measure the floors! When the project was completed they cleaned up thoroughly and put back anything they moved from the house. I would highly recommend this company to everyone as their work is very clean and neat. Get it done right with floorwood solutions!

I recently had Floorwood Solutions do an installation on my main floor as well as two landings. I initially dealt with Patricia via e-mail. Her responses were detailed and prompt. She answered all my questions in a fashion that were easy to understand, which made me comfortable. When Robert visited my home to complete the measurements, he took the time to explain exactly what they intended on doing and why. Other installers spent so little time explaining the process that it felt like I was buying some cookie cutter solution. On installation day, Robert and Darek involved me in the process, making sure I liked the placement of the flooring before they proceeded. The finished product surpassed my expectations. Friends walking through have commented on the quality of the workmanship. One was astounded that Robert and Darek were able to get the flooring as tight to the wall as they did. They also noticed the little things that simply finished things off. I highly recommend Floorwood Solutions and intend on using them again soon.
