    Electrical Work

    Steve and his team were great! I left a message and Steve responded very quickly. They arrived at our house on time and stayed true to their costing and timing of getting the job done. Thanks so much guys!

    Knob and Tube removal

    Steve and his team are fantastic! Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and personable. Steve quoted on my job (95 year old house in high park area which required completely new electrical) he wasn't the least expensive electrician I met with, but for some reason I felt I could trust him, and I'm glad I did because his team is excellent. They stayed within timelines, and came in on budget. I've found an electrician for life. Thanks Steve and the team from CLI electric!

    Repair electrical issues and aluminum wire recondition

    There were a few outlets and switches in my house that had not been working for awhile and I decided to finally do something about it. I found CLI Electric and gave them a quick call. Steve was able to come by the next day, and as it turned out I had some faulty connections and burned wires. He was able to fix everything, but he recommended that I do something called aluminum wire reconditioning for my whole house (I didn’t even know it had aluminum wiring). His quote was very reasonable and I scheduled to have the work done a few weeks later. Steve and his team worked diligently to get everything done within a few days and the cleanup they did was immaculate. Really friendly and very professional. I am quite impressed with this company and will call them again should I need any electrical work done.

    Knob and Tube, Rewire/Pot, Lights/Sub Panel

    I had an unknown amount of knob and tube to replace in my 4 bedroom house and chose Steve from CLI Electric to do this. Steve's attention to detail, timeliness and co-operation were second to none. I found them to be very hard working, trustworthy and respectful. Steve understands the meaning of customer service and kept me fully informed at all times. In addition to replacing the knob and tube wiring, I had them install a sub panel since the main panel was full, and pot lights throughout the first floor. I can't stress enough just how impressed I am with this company. They do amazing work. I have no hesitation in recommending CLI Electric.

    Upgrade from fuse box to breaker panel

    The service I received from CLI Electric was FANTASTIC!!! Right from my initial phone call, to scheduling the job and through to completion, I was treated with such respect and great consideration. Steve and Adam arrived right on time at 9:00am as per my request since I had to drop my children off at school at 8:30. They finished in record time and when the inspector came to inspect their work even he was impressed and said they did amazing work. I was so thrilled to hear this from the inspector and he told me I made right call hiring them. Just a great experience dealing with these guys. If I have any electrical jobs in the future you can bet on it that I will be calling CLI Electric and no one else.

    Emergency service

    Half of the power went out in my house yesterday around 7:00pm and although it wasn’t freezing outside I was greatly concerned because the heat wasn’t working and we have a newborn, also the temperature was starting to going down. I was frantically searching the internet and came across CLI Electric. Within an hour Steve arrived and starting working to find the problem. All I can say is that this guy is now my hero. He found and fixed the problem, got our heat back on and the power restored. Fast, friendly and superior service is what I experienced. I recommend CLI Electric without any hesitation.

    Install Chandelier in Foyer/Pot lights in Hallway

    Our new chandelier had been sitting in its box since last Christmas, (or maybe it was Halloween, I can’t remember) waiting to get to the top of my hubby’s to do list along with installing 5 pot lights in the hallway (I know crazy huh!!, now stop laughing!!) Feeling completely exasperated I stared searching the internet and found CLI Electric on the web through HomeStars. I sent them an email on a Saturday afternoon and Steve got back to me that evening, and gave me a ball park estimate that I was comfortable with. I set up a time for him to come by on that Wednesday. Steve, Adam and Junior arrived right on time at 9:00am and the first thing they did was put down cloths to protect my floors/furniture against any type of debris from drilling in the ceiling? Well that just blew me away!! Within a short period of time the chandelier was up and the pot lights installed, any evidence they were there was cleaned up. My husband and I are truly impressed with: their attention to detail; professionalism, patience in explaining how the chandelier would be attached to the ceiling; friendliness and fair pricing. It really is our pleasure to write this review for a contractor that actually "delighted their customer"; it’s been a long time since that's happened to us. We highly recommend this company for your next electrical project. We have a few more plans in the future and will be calling only CLI Electric.

    Whole House Renovation/Pot lights/Landscape Lighting

    We decided to completely gut our bungalow and renovate from top to bottom. We had the house rewired, new service and panel, potlights and some outside lighting as well. Everything was done to perfection. His crew consists of really great guys and pros at what they do. Steve was very gracious with us when it came to our constant changes to the original plan, we were always met with a smile and “no problem”. We had many trades in our home during the renovation and Steve and his crew were the most professional, clean and courteous out of all of them. If you are looking for the best of the best give CLI Electric a call.

    Rewire House & 200 amp Service Upgrade

    I hired CLI Electric because Steve made me feel the most comfortable and he has a lot of confidence in what he does. It took Steve and his team about 2 weeks to complete my 2 story 80 year plus old home. They did minimal damage to the walls and he has a specialized technique he uses which makes all the difference when it comes to patching the holes in the walls. They were very professional and cleaned up completely every night before they left. Everything passed inspection by the ESA with no issues whatsoever and I got the Certificate of Inspection the next week. My experience with them was very positive and stress free. The next time I need an electrical company, I will call CLI Electric and no one else.

    Electrical for Basement Renovation

    I had CLI Electric do all the electrical work for my large basement renovation including the rough-in and finishing work as well as some minor work in other parts of the house. Steve is undoubtedly one of the most professional and caring people I have ever met. His work is stellar and he takes great pride in doing a high quality job. Steve and his team worked diligently for many days to complete the rough-in wiring on time and always showed up when he said he would, ready to work. He is very friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving him in my home to do his work while I was out. I would recommend Steve and CLI Electric to anyone wanting a true professional that believes in quality.
