We wanted to add the 3rd bedroom to our home in Leaside. Started looking for an architect. Googled the words "home addition, renovation" and found dozens of links to architects and various companies. We talked to many of them but have chosen Rocco because of his professional and friendly manner, his ability to understand what a client really wants, his sense of style and practical approach, and his absolutely competitive fees. And the last but not the least, he is always easy to reach and delivers what he promised in a timely manner.

We found Rocco’s company on Homestars as we needed a Structural Engineer to oversee a major renovation project. After meeting a few other candidates, Rocco stood out as someone who really knew what he was talking about and easy to work with. He responded quickly to the initial call and since then has been very responsive and diligent. He reviewed the plans and made recommendations that would make things easier and more effective. Having been impressed with the results from the initial scope of work, we further engaged him to prepare a complete package of drawings and applications for building permits. Rocco is a very thorough and detailed consultant and a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend connecting with him before you proceed with your renovations.

We purchased an older home in a mature subdivision. We wanted to renovate the interior and sought the help of Rocco. He was thorough, precise and very organized. He took the worry out of the process.

I needed a someone who could produce plans/documentation to submit to The City, fast! I knew what I wanted drawn up but being an Australian I didn't know what the local requirements entailed. A few quick emails revealed that these guys could do the job quickly, easily and without fuss. They came in prior to us closing on the house, drew up plans and had then submitted and approved in a blink! We are now three weeks since closing and a contractor has started on our house (read dump). This company can deliver. If you aren't sure what you want it may take longer, but I can confidently, highly recommend Architalcan Design Inc to get your plans drawn up and submitted with the minimum of hassle!

We needed someone who could help us create the drawings for the safe removal of a 14ft wide exterior load bearing wall. We were scared that this was going to be huge. But with a professional like Rocco - it was NO problem. Rocco came several times to asses the space as we were demo'ing and provided final drawing and submitted for permits with speed and efficiency. Even texting me from Italy while at a construction show to come a take a look at something unexpected after we removed the wall. Rocco was referred to me from an associate engineer. I needed someone who knew what they were doing and to do it in a timely manner due to the season changing. I hired Rocco on the spot after meeting him. He gave me the confidence and trust needed to get the drawings and permits for an underpinning job I had to get approved asap. Well he delivered and then some. He accommodated my requests at no extra cost and made suggestions from his experience which were of value in this current renovation. To sum it up from a contractors point of view, he is my go to guy for anything structural.

I called Rocco after my contractor sent me an electro-mech engineer to look at my load bearing wall and told me he was too busy to file permit papers to the city for me and that I should just do it myself. I called Rocco after reading his homestars reviews and was so please to have a frustration-free experience. Rocco works very quickly to produce drawings and file permit papers to the city, he delivers your permit to your door, and makes the process stress free on your behalf. He also works with a structural engineer that was recommended to me by and architect friend.
