These are nice people who work hard and are proud of their work. I decided to use them because of the great reviews and good prices. Getting rid of mould or asbestos makes people anxious. In my case, this was a super-anxiety-making situation because in-laws were involved. Long story. Anyway, David was very comforting to work with, and I felt confident that he would do a good job and leave me with no problems. Which he and his team did. They arrived early, had unmarked trucks, had their own little trailer to carry things off rather than a dumpster (I had a lot of stuff) and were wonderfully courteous. Everything was left spic and span. The crew made a difficult day for me very easy. I couldn’t have been more pleased, and the price was fair. Robert, the owner, helped me with a lot of phone arrangements along the way, and was very friendly. This is a small company of, as I said, nice people who work hard. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly.

After interviewing many mold remediation companies, I decided to hire Robert and his team based on the excellent reviews and his price for mold remediation and asbestos tile removal. I had a foundation crack and water was leaking in behind the drywall. There was not much mold visible on the drywall and barely any mold smell, but I was more worried about what was behind the drywall. Asbestos tiles were in the walkout from my basement and I wanted to have that removed as well because I have 2 young children. On the day of the job, Dave called me out of consideration to advise me that he would be running late due to traffic, which I appreciated, and I noticed that some of his crew were waiting outside my house way before the start time. When he got there, he introduced his crew and the work that they were hired to do. They sealed the work areas, removed, cleaned, and disinfected the affected areas. The work took over half a day and in the end, I was very satisfied with the work they did. I also want to commend them on their post-job customer service. I contacted Robert the president to advise him that there was some sort of white fuzzy substance growing on my concrete basement floor which was not there previously. Dave came by again and advised that it was not mold but efflorescence which is a salt by-product which is not toxic substance. He cleaned it up and hepa-vacuumed the affected area. I really appreciate Templar's professionalism and would not hesitate to recommend them or to use their services again (hopefully not).

Templar recently removed mould from my cold room and it is simply spot less now! The service was quick and efficient and the employees were very polite. They even cleaned out the contents of the room prior to beginning the job. My cold room no longer smells mouldy. I also am very impressed with the fact that Templar only uses an ORGANIC mould removal product, so I did not have to worry about inhaling harmful chemicals! Great job...will definitely call again in future!

It was a pleasure to work with David and his team. He is very knowledgeable and patient. His team did an excellent job and would not hesitate to recommend Templar no surprises or extra costs. Robert, the owner, was also very good to work with. Excellent company, highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this company. Robert and his team took care of my problem quickly and were extremely professional. Water was leaking into my basement, but I wasn't sure why. After removal of my floor, wainscoting, and any mould that had resulted, Robert pinpointed the problem.. They were very professional and got the job done in about six hours. As well, they scrubbed the walls and floors. My basement was spotless!! The water problem turned out to be a faulty downspout and poor grading against the side of my house, the result being leakage into my foundation. An industrial humidifier was run overnight resulting in a very dry basement, and I don't have any cracks in my foundation as originally thought. With this information, I can now move forward to rectify the problem.

We recently purchased a home and found, during inspection, that there was a relatively minor amount of asbestos around an old furnace location and copper water pipes in the laundry area. Two abatement firms were contacted - both responded promptly however Templar's quote was very reasonable and they were able to conduct the work in a much better timeframe than the competitor. Straightforward, no nonsense, "get'r'dun" service - 'couldn't ask for anything better. I hope I don't have a future need for abatement services but, if I do, I'll have no qualms about contacting Robert and team for support.

We recently purchased a renovated house. The home inspection noted roughly nine vents that had asbestos based heat pads which were recommended for removal. I contacted three companies through Homestars for a quote. Two companies responded promptly and with a follow-up call. I chose Templar Mould for the great price offered. In terms of service, the two men arrived on-time, finished the job early, left the place tidy, informed me on any other issues, were knowledgeable, were friendly and were not alarmists. They understood the use of asbestos and explained questions while maintaining perspective which I believe is important. Overall, great service and nice guys.

I sent Templar a message online and they called me within 24 hours to schedule a free quote. I spoke with Rob, who was very knowledgeable, and explained what typical asbestos inspection and removal involved. Dave showed up to my house at the scheduled time and really investigated all the nooks and crannies of the house. He recommended that I test some floor and ceiling tiles with an independent agency (as it would save me money), which was very nice of him. He took many notes, and answered all of my questions. He let me know that a quote would be to me within 72 hours. Sure enough, Rob contacted me with a very reasonable quote. He estimated that the work would take two full days which involved: removal of asbestos from basement floor, ceiling tiles, and heat shield. Also, removal of all asbestos from the 10 heat registers in the house. Full basement demo, which included removal of all wood paneling, studs, insulation (it was old), raised subfloor. They got the work done in two days, and cleaned everything up. Dave even swept my driveway for errant wood chips and/or nails. Highly recommend.

Robert was very quick to respond and very helpful when we initially spoke. He was able to work within our short timeframe and did the work as promised and quoted. He was willing to answer all my questions which I'm always full of and was very informative. He also gave us advice on another project we needed to get done.

Robert answered our call immediately and arranged to come and remove the mould we discovered starting a renovation - excellent service, and terrific result! they left our bathroom clean, mould free and ready to get back to reno. we highly recommend them
