We had just bought a house and were looking to sand and re-stain the hardwood floors and staircase railing before moving in. Given that the hardwood was laid out in a herringbone pattern, we wanted to make sure we hired someone with a lot of experience to do the work. Francisco and his team did an unbelievable job from beginning to end and went above and beyond our expectations. He provided samples of various stains similar to the one we had selected from a store so that we could be sure of the color. The floors turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier with his service. Would recommend to anyone looking to refinish their floors!

Awesome job. The floor was previously refinished by a general contractor who did not sand / stain the floor correctly. We were told our floor could not be refinished again however Francisco restored like the floor was brand new. Team was very punctual, contained the dust and left our home very clean. I will use again in the future.

We had to refinish our stairs and handrails. Francisco was amazing. We found him on Homestars. We were very reluntant about finding a contractor online but the great reviews convinced us to give Ecowoods a call. We are extremely happy that we did. Francisco and his team were very professional and finished the project in the time that he quoted. He taped the entire work area and cleaned up as he finished each stage. Francisco and his crew did a fantastic job refinishing the hardwood floors on my rental home. The floors were in pretty bad shape and after he was done you could hardly believe that they were the same floors. He was prompt and completed the job in the allotted time. I would highly recommend him.

I cold emailed a whole bunch of companies looking for someone to re-finish pine floors in our new (but old) house. These guys were the only ones that got back to us, and we made an appointment for Francisco to come in for a quote. He came in, and estimated that our two bedrooms would cost $700~. He also told us that they would need to come in three days in a row to put different layers on it. We've never done floors or know what to expect, but Francisco was always prompt with my fiances concerns over email. On the day, 3-4 guys came over, with a sander and began working on the floors. The next day, they did a light sanding (I wish we had known, so we would have scheduled cleaning on another day), with another coat of varnish. On the 3rd day, they did a last coat. Then we were told we couldn't drag anything across the floor for next few days as it sets. But we had to move in, and build an ikea closet. We tried our best not to drop anything, or drag anything - but it was inevitable and we have a few dents now from screws on the floor. I would really ask them for a good timeline, and plan your move in or reno carefully. The floors in the end were beautiful - and like brand new. My only caveat for them was that they would say they would be in at 9am, and done at 12pm, but always showed up late, and messed up our schedule for the day.

These guys are amazing. They repaired my scratched floor in a short period of time, and I was 100% satisfied! Not only are they totally friendly, but they just put such an effort into what they do. I suggest them to anyone who needs anything done with their floors.

We had a small repair (in a very visible location) that needed to be finished. We expected that it would not match perfectly - bit close was OK! We had a so called professional hardwood finisher come in - who did not take the time to match stain and did a terrible job of sanding. We called Francisco who came over immediately - look at it and said he could fix (get it close). Francisco and his crew re-sanded - carefully matched the stain - and git it very close to the original. These guys are professional and they care! Hi highly recommend them.

We have recently decided to refinish the floors and the landings in the house, and after a review of various commentaries in Homestars we decided to call 3 companies. From the begining we appreciated Francisco's input and honesty on his advice for what will be the best to do in our case (very old and damaged floors). Further to his advice and our own research we decided to change the floors to solve the existing problems and start fresh. Francisco's quote was average but the attention to detail on his quote was what set Ecowoods appart and we decided to go ahead with them. They attended the various requests of color choice of the staining with a smile and lots of samples (greatly appreciated). They were always on time and worked fast and efficiently. The final product is a wonderful new floor, almost new landings and very happy customers. We fully recommend Francisco and his team. Props to the installers too!

Recently changed my ugly carpeted staircase to hardwood and Ecowoods was very helpful and professional. My whole house looks so much better after I couldn't be more happy. Their attention to detail is unbelievable and it made our transaction easy and joyful. Thank you!

We bought a new house last summer and the hardwood floors were a mess. We had a one week window to have all the floors refinished before the furniture moved in. Ecowoods did a fantastic job. They were very careful to keep the dust to a minimum, they did repair jobs on the floor where it was a real mess, and the end job looked fantastic. The job was done on time and on budget - all of that made us very happy with their work. Thanks!
