Used these guys to move from Calgary to Edmonton, temporary storage in Edmonton, then a move into a new place. The whole process was flawless. On time, reasonable price, did all the packing, professional crew, actually they were entertaining - we had a great time. Who knew a move could actually be fun? I'd have no problems using them again or recommending them to others.

I was informed by the General Manager of Careful Movers about this HomeStars site yesterday and think that having a site where you can put positive reviews on a company instead of negative is a great idea. Having said that, Careful Movers went out of there way to ensure that everything went as according to plan. I never realized how much stuff i actually had and was pleasantly surprised when the cost came in just under the quote given by Mr.McKinnon. We are also very happy with the new cleaning division they have started as I have a 3 month old child and had no time to do it myself. Anyone looking for great movers should definitely give these guys a shout.

I especially want to thank Zee and his crew for outdoing themselves with my move, they made me feel at ease with the job right from the start and did not seem to get tired as it was a evening move and I know they had a move prior to ours. I have used movers a thousand times and never have i had such friendly, and efficient service. Its nice to know there are some movers that actually take pride in there work.

Overall, I must say Careful Movers is wonderful from start to finish! I couldn't have asked for a better moving crew. I can honestly state that their name stands for the truth. I am a single, full-time working mother and therefore do not have alot of time for packing and moving. There's always so much to do when you move into a new place! Not only that, but tons of things to think of before you leave! After doing some careful research and making some phone calls, I was delighted to come across Careful Movers and immediately felt at ease with Austin. He had a friendly but professional approach on the phone and was willing to accomodate us in a time where I certainly felt rushed! The crew themselves were extremely efficient and cautious throughout the day. I was very grateful for the stellar service and would most definitely recommend Austin and his crew to anyone! Just thought i would say these guys are great. Out of the 3 companies I had come in and do estimates for my move from Calgary to Vancouver, Careful Movers was the only one that made me feel comfortable enough for them to handle my really expensive furniture. All in all I am glad I chose Careful Movers and hope anyone reading this will have the same great experience as i did.

I was on Homestars looking for a drywaller for our unfinished basement in the new home when i thought i would check out the careful movers page as i had just used them this past week. I was shocked when i saw the bad review on them. I had nothing but the best experience with them, The manager, Austin McKinnon was upfront with me from the moment he stepped into our house to give us an estimate, He even came in just under his initial quote. I have nothing but praise for Austin and his crew and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a reliable trustworthy company.

We moved within the City of Calgary in August 2009. The move went well and the initial person we dealt with, D'Arcy, was great. However, he was apparently "fired" from the company and we had to deal with the General Manager, Austin, who was not as pleasant to deal with. I would not recommend this company simply because of him, although he did finally show more flexibility than was initially the case. Don't make the mistake we made. Go with a certified company through the Better Business Bureau and check out their site before choosing a moving company.
