Moving is stressful - and on a slushy snowy date even more so. But Fireman took the stress out of the process. From the estimate to a survey of the work to the final move ..every thing was handled in a professional, efficient way. All my furniture was either shrink wrapped or blanked. Not a thing broken. The foreman Andrew and crew were professional and efficient. Thank you for a job well done.

We used Fireman movers a few weeks ago and we were thrilled with the service we received. We moved out of a very small, awkward Victorian with allot of stairs...no problem for these guys...they were fast and very careful. Also impressed with the 'personality' of the moving crew...they were all very polite, friendly and respectful - and went above and beyond in many ways. Thanks!

Thanks to our moving team, Aaron, Dave, Mark, Ahmad and Luc for once again making our moving day smooth! We moved from an old downtown house, where the third floor bedroom furniture had to be hoisted out through the window and lowered down on ropes. The guys were clean, courteous and creative! We managed to get everything into one load on the truck through very careful logistics -- it was like Tetris! We have used Firemen Movers twice in 18 months and we would use them again if we ever had anything large or small, that required careful and thoughtful movers with great attitudes. Can't recommend these guys highly enough!

What a day! It was freezing rain, my cat would not cooperate, but when Cody and the team arrived, it didn't phase them, and I knew it was all under control. Even when we asked for help to try to capture my cat from under furniture in the bedroom, how can we help was their immediate attitude! Everything was handle as if it was their own. They worked fast with ease and very organized, also had us laughing, which is not easy on a moving day. I've moved too many times already, and this was one of the easiest moves ever. They immediately setup the bedroom so I could release my cat from the carrier and close the door , understanding my stress about her. My sister and friend who helped as well, both said if they move they are calling the Firemen for sure! The quote was easy to understand, no hidden costs, and when one guy was late, a discount was applied without having to ask, no surprises on the final bill. The office staff were very nice, and made me feel like I was their most important customer. Thanks soo much for making the day go as smoothly as possible!

This was absolutely the best move we've ever experienced (we've moved a lot in the past and have had some awful experiences). I went with Firemen Movers because of the great reviews. It's true, they were extremely efficient and effective and had some great packing tips too. They were competitively priced as well. The move went smoothly, they stored all of our belongings for 5 weeks, coordinated everything and set everything back up at our new home. The guys were nice and funny and took good care with our belongings. I'm fairly certain, Marco and his team especially loved moving my 300lb solid wood desk! If you're planning a move, definitely call them!

I stumbled across Homestars while randomly looking up Toronto moving companies in a general search. From the postings on this site, I chose 4 companies to contact for quotes, and while each got back to me with an email, only Doug Harper at Firemen Movers contacted me by phone. Curiosity and memories of Emergency 51 had probably unconsciously influenced my decision, but Doug's confidence and demeaner are what really sealed the deal. On the day of the move, Jamie R and Dave C showed up on time and got right to work-I had figured on starting the whole endeavour with a coffee and a walk through but they didn't waste a second getting started, and that was the vibe for the entire day. Jamie and Dave are amazing on every level-their physical strength, speed, stamina and efficiency did not let up for the entire 7 hours, and on top of all that, they are honestly and genuinely, great people. Firemen Movers' fees are on par with their competitors but it's everything else that they do that sets them apart-even their trucks are cool! Definately a "top drawer" moving experience worth every star and penny!

Jesse D. and Jamie of Fireman Movers were prompt, polite, helpful and very efficient. The work was fully completed at the price quoted. My wife and I were so impressed that we will definitely be using this company to move some of our furniture and belongings to our cottage in the Haliburton area. This is the best and most professional movers we have ever used.

We moved from Scarborough to Pickering on Nov. 19, 2012. After researching several companies, we opted to go with Firemen Movers due to their great reviews and we were not disappointed. Our 4 man team consisted of Andrew (crew chief), Chris, Harry and Moses. They first met my husband at a storage facity where we had several items. After packing those onto the truck, they arrived at our 3 story townhome and loaded all our furniture and approximately 50 large moving boxes into the truck. These guys are STRONG and have incredible endurance, continually running up and down approximately 35 stairs each trip. We had a few tricky items: the box spring from our queen sized mattress, our sofa and our loveseat were too large to go through the front door. They crew moved each of these items out the double sliding glass door off the kitchen and onto the balcony. They then divided into 2 groups...one group on the ground outside beneath the balcony and one group on the balcony. They secured each item with ropes and were able to slowly and safely lower them over the balcony railing and onto the ground. We were impressed! Altogether, our move took approximately 9 hours (including the wait time for the key to our new home). Throughout this time, the crew was extremely polite, professional and industrious. They unloaded each of our items and placed them in the appropriate rooms at the new house. They said it helped that I put color coded labels on the outside of each box, ie, all boxes with Blue labels go into the kitchen. all with Red labels into the living room, etc.) I figured this would save time and thus, money! The only reason I am giving them a 9 rather than a 10 is that while carrying boxes down the stairwell at the old residence, someone accidentally nicked the wall and it left a mark approximately 8" long. We tried to clean it, but it wouldn't come off. In the end, we figured the new owners would probably paint and cover the mark up anyway. All of our belongings made it through the move in excellent condition; nothing was broken. We were so pleased with these young men that we gave them each a $10 tip at the end of the night. They deserved it. We would not hesitate to use this company again and would strongly recommend them.

Firemen Movers were able to help us out with our move! We had 2 guys on our crew, Chris & Harry, and we found them to be very efficient, hard-working, friendly and they made the day go by smoothly. They treated our furniture as if it were their own, taking the utmost care with our items. They turned a stressful situation into one of the best moves we could have ever asked for. We will not hesitate to use them again, and we will definitely refer the company to all of our family and friends.
