Vlad is amazing! It is pleasure to have deal with his company and crew. Two guys who actually made work are very knowledgeable and are extremely hardworking. They waterproofed crack of house which was a big job, Vlad and his crew worked through the extreme winter weather to get the job done on time with high quality. Vlad checked all main drain with a camera to ensure the flow of the weepers were working properly. I am highly recommend him. Good Job!

Vlad is amazing! Vlad (the foreman) is amazing too! Both guys (and their crew) were a pleasure to deal with. Both are very knowledgeable and are extremely hardworking. We waterproofed almost the entire perimeter of our house which was a large job, Vlad and his crew worked through the extreme winter weather (including the ice storm) to get the job done on time. Outstanding work ethic. Vlad snaked (with a camera) all the main drains to ensure the flow of the weepers were working properly. He also went over and above and put clean outs on the sides of the house (in the event we ever needed access). Great to deal with from start to finish! Would highlight recommend.

He uses a moisture meter to identify the location where the water is coming from. He does a thorough assessment to minimize unforeseen issues. Vlad took time to explain the pros and cons of the different work options. He is certified in plumbing, drain and concrete work so can offer a variety of services. He was the only contractor to offer scoping the weeping tile discharge line to ensure it is in good condition. Bohdana is a pleasure to work with and does an excellent job managing appointments and schedules. The other Vlad and his crew worked hard and were organized and courteous. We've been very happy with the work that both Vlads have done for us. We had major waterproofing done last year and other small plumbing issues that have arisen over the last year. Bohdana is a pleasure to deal with and Vlad has come over on short notice several times to help us in a fix. Reasonable costs and friendly, knowledgeable and timely work. Will definitely recommend to others.

I have used Umbrella waterproofing on two different occasions for two different areas of my home. I have been VERY happy with their work, the constant keeping in contact and the professionalism of all their staff. I found them to be honest, charging for only the work that needs to be done and not up charging me or bait and switch when the times comes. All the work was done on time, within the scheduled dates and if problems arose, I was informed up well before hand. I would use them again but hope that I never have too (because then I would have more leaks).

They were responsive, punctual, organized and otherwise a pleasure to deal with. They also did their work in a tidy manner. And they we accessible in evenings and weekends to discuss the work.

Their cost I was given was reasonable. Although I have called 5 companies to obtain quotes all of whom came up with roughly the same price I felt more comfortable choosing Vlad. He was beyond knowledgeable and I learned a lot in those 30 minutes he spent diagnosing/explaining the problem and the work to me. When I phoned to book the job and have explained that I wanted to be there during crucial parts of the waterproofing but my schedule was 9-5 which did not allow me to do so they assured that photographs of the work could be provided. According to their stuff such documentation of the work process was a part of their practice which I liked very much. They have excavated two sides of the house one of which had shrubs growing along the work area (front of the porch) and these were carefully repotted back at the end of the work. They have been very meticulous and did a good job in both waterproofing the walls and in keeping the work area safe and tidy at all times. Now we are in a process of renovating our basement after we have waited for a couple of heavy rainfalls to ensure that the basement was dry before we do this major reno project. The basement is dry and reno is in full process. Would I use this company again? Absolutely yes. Sincerely, Cathy.

Hi there, I want to share my experience about Vlad & his team who helped us to do work in short term in order to put the house up for sale. We have lived in our home for over 20 years & new about plumbing issues it had. It was time to sell the house and these had to b addressed. Vlad came on the same week we placed the call. He gave us fair price & the job was done in 2 days. Fast, prompt & good service. I can't ask for more. Keep up the good work

I have and would recommend this company to fellow homeowners who have issues with wet basement foundation. Umbrella’s guys have been great all around from coming on a short notice when our basement was flooded and the tenant was complaining, to detecting the problem and eventually fixing it in timely and professional manner. My partner & I were very pleased with everything we have heard and saw on both occasions – during the initial estimate and when the actual waterproofing took place. There is no more leaks in the basement. I must note that the workers were very polite, no shouting and very patient with curious neighbour’s asking questions. We had the waterproofing done on the exterior of the side wall along which patio stones laid and the space between us and the neighbour's is very tight. They hand dug everything. Before doing any digging they carefully removed the stones and will be coming back to place them back in a few weeks. When they reached the weeping tile I had asked to be there for the camera inspection, which was free. Everything was clear and good to do the connection. We appreciate that they have listened to our minor requests. Overall very professional company, with great staff.
