We would like to express many thanks to Umbrella Waterproofing & Plumbing for their outstanding work and for providing a very prompt service. The plumber who serviced us was wonderful. Employees like him are very hard to find. Several days ago our floor drains in the kitchen started to back up. Umbrella came to the rescue. A plumber Vladimir from Umbrella scoped the floor drains, power flushed the lines and repaired a trap issue in one of the floor drains. He also fixed a small leak while there at no cost. He was really great. When we gave him a tip he refused it at first. He said he was just doing his work and he was committed to provide a good service. We treated him to a lunch. Reliable, kind staff. Good value. Prompt response and prompt repair were provided. Thank you for your good work.

Firstly I want to thank HomeStars for providing a resource that can be trusted. Through you we found an exceptional contractor who is now our go to company for all drain/plumbing needs. Onto our story: we run a store and it all started with a backed up drain in our staffs lavatory. Umbrella (Vlodymyr) fixed it. We had another contractor snake it before we found umbrella but the issue kept on coming back until we called umbrella. The day Vlodymyr came it's been smooth sailing from that point on. He used special tools to show a break in the line. He explained why another snake was not a solution. This meant the backup would resume unless the damaged joint was fixed permanently. No other contractor who came before Vlad gave us the analysis and the info we really needed to know!!! The issue was solved by umbrella the next day. The cost: $ 3000 and it was worth every penny. FANTASTIC WORKMANSHIP AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE. DEALING WITH CONTRACTORS CAN BE STRESSFUL BUT IT WAS NOT THE CASE WITH VLAD. HE WAS OF A GREAT HELP IN DIAGNOSING OUR PROBLEM AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE SOLUTION . WE GOT A DETAILED QUOTE; PROCEEDED WITH THE WORK IMMIDIATELY (THE FOLLOWNG DAY AS IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO HOLD OFF OUR BASEMENT RENO FOR ANY LONGER). GOT THE WORK DONE WHICH I CANNOT BELIVE LOOKS SO GOOD AFTER COMPARED TO THE MUDDY CONDITIONS THE TEAM HAD TO WORK IN. I FELT BAD FOR THE WORKERS THAT THEY HAD TO WORK OUTSIDE IN COLD AND LESS THAN FAVOURABLE CONDITIONS BUT BOY WERE THEY QUICK AND THOROUGH. AMAZING! I MUST SAY THE WORK DID NOT COST US AN ARM AND A LEG WHICH I THPUGHT IT WOULD DUE TO THE URGENCY AND IT BEING WINTER. I & HUBBY APPRECIATE ALL THE HARD WORK AND PROFESSIONALISM IT WAS DELIVERED WITH. THANK YOU. A million thanks goes to umbrella's wonderful team for responding to my urgent call and for saving me the headache/money during a major drain back up. I couldn't be happier with the response time and with the service provided. While on vacation in the Caribbean many miles away from Toronto I got a call from our tenant complaining about the sewer bavking up into the property. The tenant was not a happy camper as the foul smell and waste was permeating/spreading in their living room. I phoned my brother. Consequently He called umbrella since he has been happy with their services in addressing his blocked drain issue. Vladimir came the same day! He was able to check the line. He recorded a DVD video of the problem he found - roots in the clay pipe & so we vould see it upon our return. he excavated the same day. our homeowner's nightmare was resolved by the hardworking people at umbrella quickly and at a reasonable cost. I'm sure we could have been taken an advantage of if it was someone else given our predicaments and absence from Toronto. I will spead a good word about you guys

In the past couple of years my basement was getting an occasional water seepage through the foundation walls. it was certainly entering from the outside during the times of either light or heavy rains but it was not consistent. I was puzzled by this mystery so I called umbrella waterproofing when I saw their stuff and their truck working two houses down from mine. I had a pleasure meeting with Vlad who was undeniably very knowledgeable and shared his expertise with me. Without any hesitation he checked all the foundation walls of my basement, he got into the areas that were less accessible even the crawl space, he was diligent and I could tell right away he was very good at his job. I could see myself hiring him for the job. After digesting what I've learned from Vlad and after some correspondence with him and his office we scheduled the work. It has been completed over a year ago and I'm thrilled to report the leaky foundation problems have not reappeared since then. The basement is dry and thanks to umbrella waterproofing, Vlad, his team we are confident to proceed with the basement renovation this May. We are also contemplating to get the back water valve installed in May. Without a question Vlad will be the man for the job. I cannot recommend strongly enough this great company. I've deal with many contractors but Vlad and his teammates are like no other - Caring, Responsive, Professional, and VERY knowleadgeable. Thank you

Hello, I would like to thank Vladimir, his team, and Dana who helped us to resolve foundational issue this winter in a very professional and promo manner. Our family came to visit from abroad and was staying in the basement bedroom. One morning we discovered soaked carpet and water on the tiled part of the basement apartment. I felt horrible and started calling companies with glowing reviews. Vlad's assistant was sensitive to our situation: sympathetic and arranged for Vladimir to arrive the same evening. Vlad was amazing. He was so professional, knowledgeable, offered us an optimal solution to our foyndation issue and was able to get the work started immidiately after we agreed to proceed. I cannot express how thankful I am to have found umbrella. No more leaks since the exterior waterproofing in a corner that leaked.

My wife called Vlad first. Got him to price out the back water valve installation since the city of Toronto offers the rebate for it. Great valve and great workmanship by Vlad's team plus the city reimburses a very generous amount for it. Why not? Very happy about that. My parents are getting this done by umbrellas crew too. Then a year later we asked for Vlad to come and check out foundation in the cold room. We experianced slight dampness there that progressed over time. Again, Vlad was spectacular - fair and honest plus his team did not fail to impress us
