After the spring thaw two areas in our relatively new home leaked after the builders warranty expired! I seeked quotes from 3 different waterproofing contractors. Vlads from Umbrella turned out to be the most helpful plus detailed and his expertise left me with a lasting impression. I called him the same day and scheduled the start date. His team waterproofed 2 walls of our house within the time he approximated it would take. The other teammate Volodimir was very considerate he asked us every day at the end of the day while they worked at our house if we had any questions and whether we needed for him to walk us through the process after the work was complete. My hubbie and I would highly recommend this company. 5+++

Vlad was very professional and thorough in explaining the situation and giving us options. When it came time to do the work, his crew worked very hard, got the job done in two days, and cleaned up afterward. They even helped gather up plant roots and materials left behind by the job. I highly recommend this company.

Vlad came to detect the cause of the leak. After 45 min, being an honest man, told us the cause was a roofing leak and didn't charge me a penny for coming out. We offered to pay for his time and he refused. Highly recommend their services

After disappointment with another plumbing company Vlad provided us with very competitive quote, both Vlad and Bohdana (despatcher & receptionist) so the urgency of our situation and immediately started the work. The team arrived on time and worked with diligence and integrity, completed the task as schedule and promise with no surprises, they cleaned up the site (driveway, house and garage) upon leaving. After contacting several waterproofing companies, I was referred to Umbrella by a friend. My previous experience with other companies wasn't positive and I was very impressed with the service I received from Vlad. My home has an internal weeping tile system with a sump pump (installed by previous owners) however I still had water issues in the basement as a result of this brutal winter. Vlad took the time to explain to me the issues with my water issues, assessed specifically which cinder blocks were retaining water. Other companies had suggested tie in to internal weeping tile however this required extensive damage to basement (which is finished). Vlad explained in detail why the outside of the house needed to be addressed, his team worked quickly and efficiently and their clean up was excellent. I have no problem in recommending this company for any waterproofing issues you may have.

I had an excellent experience with umbrella waterproofing and drains. No downsides; only good things to share. Punctual n’ reliable. Good price n’ trained people. They waterproofed huge part of my house on the outside corner area and along the entire south wall with limited clearance space. They did camera inspection, applied numerous layers of different product on the foundation walls not just a layer of tar. In spring they will come back to place all the interlock after the ground thaws; we did not even know they could take care of that n’ were so happy to learn we did not need to hire another contractor for it. We haven’t had any leaks in the past two months even after the rain n’ slush in January. They worked in minus degree conditions; we even made them hot chocolate n’ had some good conversations after their days work. Pleasure was ours n’ we’re looking forward to seeing you in spring for interlock work. Cheers, Coco

I hired Umbrella to come and clean up a mess caused by another plumbing Company. I won't name them, but they are a HUGE, INTERNATIONAL Company that I'm confident you've heard of. We knew of Umbrella because we had Vlad come to give us a quote on Waterproofing the perimeter of our house and got a really great vibe from him. Vlad was at our house discussing the other project and we had him take a look at the leak caused by the other company. Vlad provided a reasonable explanation and price. We ended up needing the work done so we called Umbrella. The Plumber they sent, Ivan, was great. He immediately identified the cause of the issue and went right to work. He was done in a reasonable amount of time and was true to the price Vlad had quoted. We have an old plaster ceiling that we did not want touched because repairing it would be very difficult and costly. Ivan totally respected that and didn't go near it. Their Office Manager, Bogdana, was also very helpful as well. Good communications and follow up as needed. I highly recommend that you use this company. They do great work and are very supportive and helpful if you have any questions. Their prices are competitive and they are not trying to upsell or charge you for anything unecessary. We will definitely be using them again.

My bathtub was leaking through upon my call Vlad came and replaced all damaged Pipes.In my opinion. He gave a good time to answer all of my questions and made me sure we were completely satisfied with the work before the job was complete. He was very good worker. I recommend him.

ON SUNDAY WE HAD SUDDEN GUSHING OF WATER IN THE KITCHEN OF OUR RESTAURANT. WE SUSPECTED THE PIPE BURSTED DUE TO FREEZING. UMBRELLA ARRIVED WITHIN AN HOUR AND FIXED IT. AS EXPECTED THE PIPES FROZE. THEY ALSO CHECKED SEWAGE SMELL THAT ‘S BEING ONGOING ON AND OFF. THE FIXED THE PLUMBING LEAK VERY QUICKLY. THEY GAVE US A QUOTE FOR THE REPAIR OF THE DRAIN AFTER THEY PUT S[PECIAL CAMERA EQUIPMENT DOWN WHERE ODOUR WAS COMING FROM. WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN
