Thank You for the 10 Star Review.
Reply created 8 Dec 2016Our policy is simple: it isn't broken, don't fix it. The HVAC system in Radu's home in Toronto needed nothing more than a thorough duct cleaning. We were happy to oblige and will put him on our call back list in 3 years.
Reply created 28 Nov 2011Happy to oblige, RM! We try hard to minimize intrusion in family life while we're their, and to leave your home as we found it...minus the dust in the ducts.
Reply created 28 Nov 2011When it comes to air filters, you get what you pay for. We love HEPA units and Clean Air Gold permanent electrostatic washable filters due to their remarkable ability to dramatically reduce dust in the home. You have to begin with an effective duct cleaning, of course.
Reply created 28 Nov 2011Duct cleaning is merely the first step toward keeping a home more dust free. Toronto and the GTA is a large polluted city, so changing or washing filters on a periodic basis is an essential procedure in home maintenance.
Reply created 28 Nov 2011Many new homes are not duct cleaned professionally. Simply vacuuming out the vents, as most builders do, is entirely ineffective because so much dust remains hidden from the human eye, deep inside the main duct work. So many times I have encountered customers with respiratory problems: coughing, sneezing and even bleeding noses. Add to it, the accumulation of dust in the furnace...what a nightmare!
Reply created 28 Nov 2011Our company was inundated with as many as 25 calls per hour. Fortunately, our response time was relatively quick and we were able to book Elvis at his early convenience. Knowing which way the wind blows can be important in locating and positioning the duct cleaning truck. A shift in the wind, can direct exhaust emissions into the home.
Reply created 28 Nov 2011I'm glad we were able to solve the air flow issue in your home. Adjusting the dampers doesn't always help; fortunately in this case, it did. Debris (definition: fragments of something that has been destroyed or broken into pieces) on the furniture as a result of our duct cleaning procedure is not possible, because we pull out debris from the vents by hand or use a portable 5 HP wet/dry vacuum, prior to duct cleaning.
Reply created 28 Nov 2011Thanks for the review Tim. I will put you on our call back list in 3 years. See you then!
Reply created 28 Nov 2011Our lead duct cleaners have a lot of experience with new home construction because they held down the Mattamy Homes contract for about 9 years in south central Ontario. Performing over 18,000 duct and furnace cleaning contracts under companies that implement ISO standards, demands top quality workmanship from all the trades.
