Alex and company were terrific to deal with. They came on the appointed day and time to measure for the railing for my new front stoop. I emailed Alex examples of the style of railing I was hoping for. Alex was good enough to invite me to the shop to see a mock-up of the railing before they actually fabricated it. They even responded positively just weeks before Christmas when I asked them if it would be possible to get the railing installed a little ahead of schedule so that I would have a safe railing for the elderly guests I was expecting over Christmas. We love the new railing. It is the finishing touch on an extensive renovation of our front yard. I would not hesitate to use this company again. This is an update to my earlier review. It is now the end of May. About a month ago or so, I noticed that there was a 1 cm wide chip of paint that had come off the top of the railing, where I had earlier noticed what looked like a small air bubble. I called Alex about it and he asked if it would be alright if they could repair it the next time they were in my neighbourhood. It wasn't going to hurt it to wait a bit so I agreed. I just noticed yesterday that the paint repair had been made, very quietly and without fanfare. It must have been done in the last few days. What TERRIFIC follow up service. I didn't have to nag or cajole them to come back for such a tiny repair. Customer service really is important to these guys; they don't just pay lip service to it. Thanks again, Alex!

The best review is a referral. Alex provided us with the best service, from the design process to the installation. He was always available to answer my questions and give us a helping hand. We had looked for a year for a railing company and little did I know they were just down the street. An honest family run company with Integrity. Great job gentlemen.

the railings were done fabulously. The job was completed on time without any delays. excellent attention to detail and was very pleased with final result. The follow up at a later date was nice as well.

We are very happy with our new railings. The whole process took about 2 months from quote to installation. I had some concerns about attaching the railing to our stone steps but everything turned out perfectly. I would definitely recommend this company for their quality workmanship and reasonable price.

Custom made railing that suits the view of the location. Their job is simply the best that I have seen. They satisfied all the criteria that I had in mind and they are simply good at their job!

We are thrilled with our new railings--from estimate to installation took just under 3 months. This company is busy because they produce quality railings at a reasonable price and their customer service is always amazing--Alex was a pleasure to deal with--emails and phone calls were promptly dealt with by Art Metal . We found it helpful to drive out to Bering Ave in Etobicoke to see railing samples--photos were of value but not adequate to make a final design decision. Alex was there to show us around and guided us through the decision making/pricing etc. We highly recommend Art Metal and would use them in the future.

Alex and family provided us with wonderful railings, and great service. What did I like? - It's a family run business that takes pride in their work. - They showed up on time and communicated up front that delivery might be longer than expected due to a backlog. - The price was in-line with other estimates even though the quality of work seemed much higher - The installation team showed attention to detail in making sure everything was completed to high standards. - And, of course, the railings are great also.

We are delighted with our railings: they add a classic flare, yet still work with the style of the house. Our communications from the company were all prompt; the price was in line with other estimates (and seemed worth it for the individual care); the installers were very courteous. The process took a week or two longer than expected, but my enquiries were met with updates from Alex on the progress--and we are very pleased with the outcome. Thanks to all.

We are very pleased with Art Metal. Alex and company made a beautiful custom balcony for our house, working with us on a design that started from a scrap piece of paper and, with very little discussion, they were able to determine what we wanted and then produce a work of art. There was a few days delay based on pickets being backordered, but we were kept informed through the process. We are thoroughly pleased with the product, the installation, and the company and would highly recommend Art Metal.
