We purchased a house that had faulty windows and French door at the back which were leaking water into the house causing significant long term damage and also had no insulation around them. The Magic Windows sales pitch was the least painful of the three companies we had quote for the work. We ordered some larger windows to replace a series of smaller ones, and a sliding glass door, despite being more expensive than a vinyl window supplier.
The installers were very professional and friendly. They completed the job in a day (8 windows and the door). The windows themselves are solid, open easily, and the hidden blinds and screens are great as they just get out of the way and disappear.
The window trim was a bit smaller than the existing windows so we did need to get a decorator in to repair and paint a little, but his was a minor cost in the overall scheme of things and a function of the lack of insulation around the original windows. We're hoping the insulation improves the energy efficiency of the house.
We're now looking to install a Window Wall in the walk out basement, and I think that says it all!
