I have 30 yr old house, the old wooden windows were rotting, and the brick sills below were crumbling. I replaced every window (over 40) and every brick sill (with new concrete sills) and sliding Patio Door. I evaluated available vinyl and fiberglass options, went with patented magic windows with steel reinforced frames and no cranks (have 30 casement windows). They have built-in retractable screens and can have built-in retractable bedroom darkening blinds (https://vimeo.com/50396586). All windows were built and installed on time, with a very polite and efficient crew, and are great looking and easy operating windows. I am truly delighted with these windows and recommend them and the company without any hesitation. An unusual but great thing about these windows is that they open fully and I reached and cleaned every window, both inside and outside, from inside the house.

We had sliding doors installed just over a month ago. If I were to do it all over again, I would go with another company. If you decide to go with Magic Windows BEWARE: The owner is rude and ungrateful to have you as a client. If you live downtown Toronto, that the installers will not do your cut out, as promised by the Sales Rep. Have the Mason speak directly to the Installer. Do not call head office for assistance as they do not have the knowledge and are rude and threaten to make it your problem if things go wrong. After installation, customer service is non-existent (I waited for over a month to hear from customer service to fix my screen, when an appointment was finally made no one showed up. I’m still waiting for a call to reschedule).

We have been thrilled with our new windows from Magic Window. We had new windows installed 4 years ago, and we have been so happy with the purchase, installation, look and function of the windows. The installation value and noise reduction have been exceptional. The windows are very easy to clean because they open fully and we can reach both inside and outside panes from inside the house. The retractable insect screens have performed really well. One unique thing we did in our house was to install a window, sized for our air conditioner -- so each summer we take out the window and reinstall it in the fall. This process is easily done. We have a textured window in our bathroom (which is fully functional) and the design is beautiful. The service and installation truly have been excellent. We are now getting solar screens for the front windows. My spouse is recovering from a severe concussion and has extreme light sensitivity. When we tested the screens at the showroom, we were delighted that the full panel of glass would be covered and that we would still be able to see outside. We have referred Magic Windows to several of our friends. Thank you, Sol, and Magic Windows!

After several quotes for window replacement, we decided on Magic Windows in Woodbridge, Ontario. After Cory came out and showed us the product, I was sold instantly, (just had to convince my husband, which wasn't too hard). We've had our windows for approximately one month and are very happy with them. The options that come with the windows are amazing, such as the retractable solar screen. The back of our house faces South and this screen along with the energy efficient window helps to keep the air conditioner use at a minimum. Magic Window changed my 3rd floor patio sliding door in 1 hour. They removed the old door and brought in the new door, from the outside of the house, using a ladder. Their work was well organized, neat and clean.

We needed 13 new windows in our home, and had been looking and doing research on windows for several months. We happened to see beautiful windows in a house we passed by and when we inquired about the windows, they were from Magic Windows. These windows are Canadian made, and work on rack and pinion system for the casement mechanism. The sound-proofing they provide and the warmth in winter and cool in summer are very impressive. The people we worked with (Sol and Mike) were professional, friendly, and timely. We have recommended them to many friends.

I needed new windows and patio doors for my home and was very afraid of dealing with the wrong company. It was a big investment for me and I needed to make the right decision. I usually don’t complain if I have a problem with a product or service, I just walk away from them. But I do believe that if someone goes the extra mile and does a good job, that person or company should be praised and complimented…That is why I decided to write this review. After various problems with the patio door, the owner of the company, Sol addressed the issues promptly. The windows are exceptional. The large blinds on the patio door have been a problem. An air leak on the patio door has been rectified with additional insulation. Let me make this clear: I reviewed the windows in the past as terrible however the window units are not the issue. The blinds, not the windows themselves were the concern. I request that my previous review be disregarded (and removed from the website) as the customer service has improved tremendously. I recommend the windows without hesitation. Thanks Sol!

In the four months since their team replaced all the windows in our home, Elizabeth and I have had plenty of time to positively re-affirm our decision to commit to their products. Our home facing the south shore of Lake Ontario provides a wonderous, all-season view but is also subject to serious weather conditions. When it was time to replace the high-end windows installed during the construction of our home, we were motivated to do some serious research (including a lengthy tour of their factory) before deciding to deal with Magic Window. The methods and materials used in their windows provide superior strength and insulation properties to ward off the harsh winter storms off the lake while keeping heating/cooling costs down, with the added bonuses of noticeable noise reduction and increased window area. The “Parallex” system dramatically reduces the vertical torque stress plaguing most other casement windows currently on the market and was also an important consideration for our windows which are frequently open and closed to take advantage of breezes off the lake. Their sales rep, Don Cummings, was a professional, knowledgeable and patient resource for the advantages of their product without stooping to disparaging competitive products. And their installation team proved to be a delightful surprise, arriving punctually on the appointed day and paying attention to every detail from protective floor coverings, to speedy and accurate installation, to finishings, and finally to disposal of debris. The personal visit of their President following the installation was much appreciated. It’s rare to deal with a company whose president personally checks the level of customer satisfaction. My career as an independent technology analyst in the stock market has instilled a degree of cynicism in my soul toward advertised, tech-based capabilities so it is a delight to write a positive review for a change. And as for Elizabeth, she is “thrilled” with the resulting improvement to our home.
