    Office Moving

I scheduled a move with this company in hopes that they would be able to accomodate us. We were a local move in Richmond BC, going only a few blocks away, and their company was only about 10 minutes away from us. I spoke with Debbie and I let her know that we were moving from the airport, she said that was no problem. I then looked up their rating on BBB and she gave me a huge story about how the BBB are doing their company a disservice and it is not their fault. I then decided to give them a chance. I initially scheduled the move for 4pm but they then asked if they could come at 2pm, we agreed. We received a call the day before the move letting us know they would be there at 2pm, they did not arrive until 3pm, and also arrived with a loaded truck. They claimed that the job was too big and they could not do it. Also that it would take longer than the three hours that we planned for, although I insistently told her days before that it would most likely take longer than the three hours and we went over pricing. The men get there and say they are not doing the job because it is too long to get in and out. Now remember, I told them it was at the airport, what did thay think it was going to be? We then asked them to move for the three hours scheduled and just move the furniture, we were told that their boss told them to leave. Basically all and all they left us high and dry with no mover. They will probably respond and say that we did not give them enough information or that we were trying to cut pricing corners, but that is not it entirely, I told her the cost did not matter, and she even stated on the phone that she should have had them come out and assess the move first, so it is their unprofessionalism that caused us to be without. The worst thing of it all, was that they showed no remorse for leaving us stranded without movers. 3:45pm I was told it is too late for them to move anything for us now. Although our initial moving time was 4pm. ... This company has too many excuses for their shady business tactics, and they show no remorse for doing it. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RESPONSIBLE MOVING COMPANY, FROM THE OWNER DOWN TO THE MAINTENANCE ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED....

Long Distance Moving Vancouver to Toronto

I was moved from Vancouver to Toronto. I am not much of a posting review person however in this particular relocation am quite pleased and happy about the services that were rendered. I also gave my word that regardless of the relocation outcome (good or bad) I would post this review. The urgency in which I needed my things to arrive in Toronto was expressed to Vega Line Moving & Storage Services from the very beginning. In fact while other companies were telling me 10-15 business days, Vega Line Moving told me that it would be no longer than 7 to 9 days. Ideally that would work great under the circumstances. My shipment arrived in Toronto New York within 8 days from the load. They communicated with me throughout the entire process. Dispatch, drivers and even the salesman that I originally signed with. But more than anything, this company was completely up front about everything, always answered my calls and emails probably close to 15 of them as this move for me was of real importance and sensitivity which I continually worried over. Their price was a little higher than most of the online quotes I received and those other quotes seemed unreasonable and very low considering the volume of the items, packaging, and drop offs at the other end. They provided me with over 10 references at one point. I believe it shows character, professionalism and substance to be as equipped with ability such as this company seems to posses. I like to thank to CJ, Tim and Victor in Vancouver for their great service. I will use your service for my future relocations and recommend to all my friends and colleagues. I want to make sure that Shawn and CJ are completely commended for doing a wonderful job with my move yesterday. They arrived on time, were professional, had great attitudes, and completed my move in a very timely manner. I was very impressed. They made a great team and got the job done very effectively and efficiently. They also were funny and made a not fun day kind of fun! Please let them know I was very satisfied with their work. Thanks a lot Vega line for making my move hussle free and easy.

    Long distance move

I would never recommend this company. They picked up in Ontario and took them more than a month to deliver in Calgary. They would not answer emails or phone calls until I called from an unlisted number. The weight was off so I requested it to be re-scaled, which showed it was way off with their "government approved scales". Once it did arrive, they dropped a sentimental vase and delivered two chairs, each one with a leg broken off. I paid for packing and most of it was packed in my own clothes and linens. Wish I had read all the reviews on other sites before hiring them!

    Moving services

Hi everybody, I moved with Vega Line a month ago and was surprised by their professionalism and exceptional customer service. My relocation was from Hamilton, ON to Vancouver, BC and went extremely well. My goods arrived in great condition in a timely manner. I was always very pleased to speak to the Vancouver headquarters when I had any questions or concerns. My relocation from Ontario to B.C. took in total 10 days, which I was not expecting to be this quick after moving three years ago to Ontario and having to wait for 26 days. I won't give names since I believe that people and companies can change with time (It wasn't Vega Line :)). Anyways, I just wanted to share quickly that my move with Vega line went extremely well and would recommend anybody to give them a call and listen to what they have to say. Debbie was my sales agent, with whom I had more talks then only about moving my household goods. Thank you for the exceptional service and I might see you soon in a few years. Martina

    Cross-country moving

Their customer service and ability to keep track of where their clients things are were terrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I hired Vega Line for a move from Ottawa to Winnipeg. I asked for my things to be delivered on the 1st of September and was never told that this would be a problem. There was no truck and no call from Vega Line on the first. I phoned on the 2nd and was told that someone was looking into it and would let me know what was happening shortly. I had to phone again the next day to finally find out that the truck was still in Toronto and wouldn't be leaving for another five days. I was furious that I was not contacted earlier and told the delay would be this long. Luckily I had friends that were able to take me in, but if I hadn't I would have had to pay a significant amount in hotel fees. Then, on the day the truck was supposed to arrive, there was a problem with accessing my street and they returned to the dispatch centre. I phoned Vega Line again SEVERAL times before finding out what was going on. Now I am told my stuff should come today but they said I would be called in the morning and it is noon, so I am expecting to wait till next week, two weeks after the date they were supposed to come. At no point did they call me to tell me about the delays. Moving is stressful to begin with and they have caused so much more unnecessary headache.

    moving from calgary to toronto

by far the worst moving experience of our life. completely unprofessional. 7 days late after we paid extra for gar. day shipment. over $3000 damage, would not give us any compensation even though we got insurance. we paid an extra $1400 for packing supplies and when we unpacked our stuff, we realized they just used our own linens to pack. vega lines also outsourced our stuff to another company for the delivery who would not unload our stuff until we paid an extra $300. Vega lines would not answer any calls or emails over the 7 days they were late. Vega is the worst moving company we have ever had and we do not recommend to anyone.

Long Distance Moving & Storage Services

I wanted to write and tell you just how pleased I was with your company. The team of movers arrived on time and worked steadily through the day. Your team greatly outperformed them in efficiency and care of furniture. I would highly recommend your firm, and give you permission to use this email, and give out mine, should you wish. This move would not have occurred if Mark from your office did not contact me. He is wonderful, professional, courteous and an absolute pleasure. Thank you again for you r great service Angela [last name removed-- Ed]
