I moved with Across Canada Van Lines from Calgary to Vancouver. I got from them full packing services. They did excellent job for us. They picked up my items March 03, 2012 and deliveried to Vanecouver on March 5th. They have an excellent crew. Tim and his crew worked very hard. They are also very friendly. We moved from Caledon, Ontario to Edmonton in early January 2012. After informing ACV of the size of house and the extra items (motorcycles, trailer and shop items), the truck that arrived at our home was too small. They had to get a second truck to complete the move. which couldn't be arranged until the following day. After our belongings were delivered to our new residence in Edmonton, we noticed that various pieces were damaged. ACL were informed of the damages. It is interesting how damage and claim costs can be assessed only by photographs. The repair costs of the damaged items are going to be more than the settlement amount of $440. I will never use or recommend ACL ever again.

I like to thank Across Canada Van Lines for my great moving service. Especially Don was great and very helpful. He followed my move from beginning to the end. I really recommend ACVL who wants to move from Toronto to Edmonton. Avril Boudrin Order# A1433

I'd like to thank the staff I worked with at Across Canada for answering the numerous questions my wife and I had throughout the 10 day process of our move, and getting everything there safely. We moved out of a 2 bedroom house in the mountains to a downtown condo, and overall the process was stress free. The loading end was done pretty quickly. We actually stayed to help load the truck because my wife was concerned how some of it would get packed in the truck, but half our place was loaded into the truck in less than an hour so we decided to go for lunch and asked the driver to call us they were almost done. In the end the unloading into our upstairs condo was a bit trickier with some tight hallways in the building, but there were no issues with our furniture, and the larger items we brought with us. I would recommend them to anyone moving across the country because in this case the pick-up and delivery locations were completely different in size and restricted space, but the movers had no problems with taking the furniture apart and loading upstairs through long hallways quickly and safely. I would use Across Canada again, and actually did give their card to a co-worker in Banff who used them for a move to Calgary since they had a better rate, and he was pleased to see no damage on the other end. It is difficult to trust a complete stranger with your most precious belongings. I would 100% recommend Across Canada Van Lines anyone who is planning to move. They have a great understanding; with the professionalism, honesty and outstanding customer service.

Company was superior on all accounts. Great coordination from the start. They were more than accommodating. Accurate, punctual, efficient, thorough, and all around great mover help service. The sales representative Fred was awesome and so were the guys (CJ and Tim are excellent) I would personally recommend those two and this company to anyone!

Across Canada Van Lines was awesome in every way possible. Very professional and courteous. When they say let us make your move easy they did exactly that. I got quotes from several other companies and they were by far the cheapest. Provided us with used moving boxes at no cost. They went above and beyond what you would expect from any moving company.

I had a healthy skepticism towards all of the big moving companies, after numerous misadventures in my childhood moving experiences, but I had the recent good recommendation of my parents for Across Canada Van Lines to go by. Before I even started making calls, I checked on-line with the local Better Business Bureau - the company had the highest ranking, which further increased my confidence in them. Starting with my very first call to them, I knew that this was the company to go with. I talked with several other companies, both locally-owned and those affiliated with the other major van lines that had companies in our area. the company's rep was unfailingly pleasant, polite, helpful, and even humorous. The representative showed up when he said he would to give us an estimate, and he was in every way professional, knowledgeable, and unbelievably helpful. But the rep was not daunted, and spent extra time with me just to reassure me that this was not an insurmountable task. He gave me a rough verbal estimate on the spot, along with a great deal of helpful information about making moving day go smoothly, and his experienced professionalism did a lot to make me feel better about the whole enterprise. The itemized written estimate came promptly in the mail, exactly when he said it would, and this further bolstered my confidence in the company. Several phone calls to our unfailingly pleasant, cheerful phone contact person followed; our questions were always answered with a positive, empathetic, "can-do" attitude that made working with the company a reassuring experience rather than the nightmare of confusion & rudeness that I'd heard about from acquaintances who had dealt with other companies. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and they worked like fiends. The speed and strength with which they loaded & unloaded our tons of stuff was absolutely dizzying, yet they were careful and considerate. No tossing of boxes or furniture. No indiscriminate dumping. They even put down floor protectors! And they provided a good dose of moving-man humor for free! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this moving company to anybody in the area they serve. Raj S.

A wonderful move We moved last month from Courtenay, BC to NEw Holland, ON with cross Canada Van Lines. It was a great experience. The quote was within our budget, and although the weight did increase, they helped us out by discounting the additional costs. The communication by the driver, Ed, was outstanding. He showed up at our house in Courtenay at 8am sharp as promised, and delivered us 8 days later on our first available date. I would highly recommend Across Canada Van Lines to anyone who has never moved long distance before and needs to ask a bunch of questions, because they were very good at explaning things to us!

I probably wouldn't have been able to handle a move by myself if I hadn't signed up for full packing service Across Canada V.L. Their team came and wrapped everything so thoroughly, they even re-wrapped things I had already wrapped. It was reassuring that they took care with all my items. I was spending quite a bit on the whole move, and it would be a real shame if everything was broken when it got delivered. Thankfully, I had a great experience with ACVL.
