Hi Mr. Pilz, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you're disappointed. We work hard to ensure that we meet and surpass customer expectations and when it seems we've fallen short; we try and do everything in our power to turn things around. Unfortunately in this case, it seems there were a few things contributing to the snow build up that were simply out of our control. This year, a large snow fall was followed by freezing rain, which did cause ice build-up on roofs in your area. You did contact your Roofing Consultant when this happened and he further suggested that from the pictures he was shown, there could also have been a heat loss issue at play. He suggested you consult a ventilation/insulation specialist to ensure everything was sound on that end. Another factor in the snow build-up was quite possibly the low pitch of your roof. Our system is designed to prevent excessive snow build-up on most roofs but with multiple factors contributing at once, as in this circumstance, the build-up you experienced this season was unfortunately unavoidable. If there are any other issues you feel we should be made aware of, please don't hesitate to contact us directly so that we may assist you in resolving those. Thank you very much for your kind words here. Having permanently cured well over 14,000 roofs since 1988, and now approaching 1,000 installations per year, we do from time to time have to deal with growth issues such as, as in this case, prolonged installation times.
