Last year our neighbour had some work done and I was impressed by the contractor, I asked for their contact info. In late August I met with Tony who looked at the project, explained it and gave me a quote. The job is done and is fantastic. The crew were professional and you would never know that they were here for 2 days the site is spotless. I would highly recommend Tony and his crew to anyone. I first sourced the company via google. Their process is very systematic where by : first a gentleman came to the house to provide a free estimate on the spot. Then within a week of the estimate another gentleman goes by to do a more precise measure. The whole process was within the time given by the sales rep. At time of install, everything was done carefully and precise. Amazing , friendly and professional service .I will certainly use them in future and have already recommended them to my neighbours and family

We recently had Tony come in to take down our chimney. We were very satisfied with the job he and his crew did. At the same time he looked at a problem we had to the exterior of our house. This will be a major job that will wait until next year, however, he patched it lightly for us. I was looking for a layer of mortar just to skim the top and avoid any water issues over the winter. We were very happy with the work Tony and his crew did. I had multiple quotes and Tony was significantly less then a competitor. After reading reviews we went ahead with him. I am glad that we did.

We had our window sills replaced by Tony's crew recently and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Tony and Chrystal were super nice and helpful. The crew was very professional, Not only did they do a great job with the sills, they also did a good job cleaning up around the house after everything is done. 24 sills took less than 2 days and the price was great. We will not hesitate to recommend Tony and Chrystal to anyone that needs their window sills replaced. Oh, did I mention that the sills look beautiful?!

I had to have 2 chimneys torn down to the roof line and built back up. I contacted multiple companies and decided to go with Straight Up Masonry. They were professional and friendly when I dealt with them over email and the phone. The did excellent work and were very clean and tidy.

The outer course of brick on my 100 year old house had serious deterioration behind the flaking parging. Straight up presented a few different options to repair with varying degrees of work and cost. We chose to go with a complete removal of the outer course of brick from just below ground level up and replace with concrete block and new parge coat. Included carpentry work - new wall plate. Tony is a straight forward and no nonsense. He provided fair pricing and explained in great detail how he would complete the job including safety measures such as supporting lack posts in basement. His team of guys were experienced and explained their work each day to me. Completed ahead of schedule. Would definitely recommend calling them if masonry work is needed.

We have had Straight Up Masonry out twice now to do work on our house. First to do some tuckpointing on various areas of our house and replace a brick window sill with a large limestone sill. We were so happy with their professionalism, meticulous work & fair price that we had them back again to do another window sill. We had many quotes and they came in mid-range. Work area was spotless when they left. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. On the 2nd job they were able to squeeze us in on a cancellation (much appreciated since we were mid-Reno and its busy season!) They were also helpful in giving some ideas and planning for future work we'd like to get done. Companies are so impersonal these days, but not these guys. They were great. Highly recommend their work. Thanks for everything guys! Can't wait to have you out for our next project!

This is the second time we have used Straight Up Masonry and we still couldn't be more happier with the job they did on both projects. Tony, Crystal and the team of guys Tony sends out are as professional as they get. We have had to hire many trades over the years with various different house renovations and I always tell people that Straight Up Masonry is the best. They show up when they're supposed, the complete the job on time and leave your place spotless. We cannot give them enough stars and we highly recommend them.

I had an old unused furnace chimney taken down to the flashing and capped off. Another chimney for the fireplace required repairs and there were numerous step cracks around it and the surrounding windows. All the brick window sills required repointing as well. It was a pleasure dealing with Tony, Crystal, and the Straight-up Masonry crew. They were punctual and polite. All work was completed to my satisfaction and the site clean-up was excellent. In summary - top notch workmanship at a fair price.
