    Block walls for walkout

    Repair damaged, disintegrated bricks

    Tony and Dan did a great job. When they arrived they jumped into action, worked diligently and professionally. Tony was able to find bricks to match the old ones attached to the house. I am very pleased with the work and would recommend them.

    Block work for walkout foundation

    Straight up provides top quality workmanship for a reasonable price. I have used them before an I will use them again.

    Masonry block pointing

    Thank you Straight-Up Masonry for the excellent work to repoint the front of house block wall. It now looks rejuvenated. The work was masterfully done exactly as you scheduled and as quoted. Care was taken to protect the area. No mess. It was left clean as before you started. Glad to highly recommend you as a quality masonry company.

    Straight Up Masonry Goes the Extra Mile

    Tony at Straight Up Masonry went the extra mile for us in repairing our chimney. He did a proper repair by putting a cap on top of the chimney rather than just adding new mortar to the crown. This involved more work, but Tony wanted to do the job properly. We are very happy with the work he did. I would highly recommend Straight Up Masonry because Tony has considerable experience in masonry.

    Insert concrete sill and reinforce and repoint brickwork in damaged areas

    We have a brick home, over 100 years old, and areas of the brick had deteriorated over time, including one area over a window that had partially collapsed. We also had another window with a wooden sill that would not have lasted another year. Straight Up Masonry replaced the wooden sill with a concrete sill, inserted a metal rod between the brick in the collapsed area for support and patched up the brickwork to match the old bricks around it. Completed the job in half a day, left the area clean, extremely friendly and helpful, and even found a siding repair person for us for another area of our house that needed work. Strongly recommend, and we will be using them again in the future

    Masonry repairs

    Tony promptly responded to my inquiry and came over and provided a quote the same day, and we booked a time to complete the repairs. The repairs were completed quickly and I am very happy with the end result. Tony was also very diligent in cleaning up before he left. I have had a few repairs completed by Straight Up Masonry and highly recommend them for all masonry work.

    Chimney rebuild

    From fitting in our chimney rebuild job before it was actually scheduled, to taking quick action after asbestos was discovered, to picking the job up the day after remediation: Straight Up Masonry were fantastic. They did the job quickly and efficiently, with a minimum of disruption. Highly recommended!

    Chimney rebuild

    Tony and his team came to the rescue of my aging chimney. Brick and cement bits had been falling from above our deck. They were able to match the existing brick so closely that you would think it was original to the house. Great work!!

    Need tuck-pointing? Go with Straight Up Masonry!

    Both my son and I liked and trusted Tony immediately. He's smart, friendly, and his business ethic fits his business name. Unlike so many in the construction business, Tony and his crew showed up on the date agreed upon and was on time. More significant is that they did a beautiful job. We recommend him without reservation.
