Hello Paula, we are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We specialize in frameless showers which your shower is. A header bar was added to keep the glass all the same height as the fixed panels were not able to go to the ceiling which would have been explained to you at the template appointment (which you also signed off on). The measuring consultants go over every detail with our clients on site, especially when additional hardware is required which adds to the cost. We are not in the practice of upselling. Our website is very comprehensive and details all of our product offerings. Having had showers installed by us previously (which were regular glass, not low iron), you obviously were happy with our previous work to ask us to come again. We rushed this installation for you at a very busy time when we have put a hold on rush orders, as you were a returning and loyal customer. When you expressed your displeasure with the regular glass, Frank (the owner) explained that it would be very costly to change the glass and would also mean that the installation with the low iron would have to occur after Christmas as we would have to re-fabricate the enclosure. In lieu of changing the glass and waiting until the new year for installation, you opted to take Frank up on his offer of an extra discount. This after you were given an additional 10% over and above what we normally offer as you were a repeat customer. Again, we are sorry that you are so disappointed but we pride ourselves on our product line and workmanship and feel that such a negative review after we did everything we could to make you happy is extremely unfair.
