Choose Ashlar Landscaping if you want quality and exceptional workmanship! Daimon was professional and his crew arrived on time and did an honest days work, despite the 40 degree humidex!! We had received 4 other estimates and Ashlar was fair and very reasonable. We had about a 500 square foot patio and walkway done that once the job was completed, Daimon's crew, James and John left the area clean and ready for the next phase of our project. We strongly recommend Ashlar Landscaping, look no further and give Daimon a call.

I recently had an interlocking walkway, backyard patio and stone steps installed by Ashlar Landscapes. I was very impressed with the results. Daimom Ferguson was very helpful and knowledgeable. His attention to detail, along with the workmanship and ability of his crew, James and John, resulted in a beautiful project. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We had a new patio of interlocking brick put in our townhouse in Burlington. Daimon and his crew, Matt and Taylor, were professional and a pleasure to deal with. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.

Having to clean up two spring floods in my garage as a result of the landscape work done by Ashlar, I felt I needed to revise my review. I purchased a home in Bloor West, and during the first winter, realized I had a major grading issue resulting in flooding when melting occurred. Early spring I met with two contractors to discuss and resolve the issue. I wanted the flood issue resolved, first and foremost and low maintenance but high impact landscaping (including artifical turf) installed. Ashlar demonstrated superior technical knowledge in the excavating and installation of buried downspouts to a french drain, and provided a very clean, fresh landscape design that I was very happy with. Unfortunately the technical solution implemented to alleviate my #1 priority to resolve the flooding during spring thaw was not successful. I later came to realize there were two flaws in their solution. Canadian winters are cold, and can result in ice build up - and when this happens the french drains do not drain in the spring thus compounding the flooding issue. Further the backyard was raised up to be flush with my garage which couple with no draining causes the garage to flood. While they were flexible and easy to work with, and I would recommend them for landscape design, the technical solution they recommended and implemented has not resolved the flooding issue, but rather compounded it, causing me hours of time every spring using multiple sump pumps to remove the excess water from my backyard and now my garage that their solution was supposed to resolve.

This company was a pleasure to deal with. Daimon and his crew were thoughtful, respectful, tidy and professional .The job was relatively small but in dire need of repair. They took a dilapidated water feature that had caved in and turned it into a wonderful rock garden. This project came in exactly on budget ( no surprises) and was finished promptly. I already have plans to use these guys in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends. Many thanks to Daimon and his crew as this was a refreshing experience.

Daimon and his crew did a fantastic job. We look at our backyard everyday and are so thankful for this new precious space. The work was done on time and budget. Since we did not have to dig as much as planned, he was able to do another small section of stone work and lay the aid for next to no extra cost. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a few companies come by and give me quotes to add an interlocking walkway infront and across my front yard, as well as creating a flower bed -- Daimon was competitive and very punctual. He and his crew started bright and early when they said they would and worked hard to ensure they got the job done on time. We made a change in colors for some pavers and Daimon was quick to accomodate. Hard working crew that takes pride in the quality they deliver and really aim to ensure that you are happy with the end product!

Daimon and his crew were very professional, punctual and exceeded our expectations. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Our front lawn needed to be re-graded and have new sod laid down. They removed the old walkway and installed a beautiful interlocked walkway, and soldier course border along the driveway. Plus they created a beautiful garden bed.

Daimon and his crew created a beautiful walkway, driveway and raised flowerbed. They were punctual and the craftsmanship is terrific. Daimon is friendly and earnest - he gave us a number of options but also offered his best recommendations. He also diplomatically helped us navigate a challenge with a difficult neighbour.
