Our living room and dining room had looked a bit tired and dated for several years. My husband and I were at odds as to some of the many choices out there, especially with the horror stories about furniture coming in from China and other places. We found Mulberry Interiors on the internet and Marguerite Roberts arrived at our home. We found her quite easy to talk to and it was definately a project that included our input. We are quite thrilled with our Canadian made dining room pieces as well as the sofa and two chairs for the living room. The drapes are luxurious and well made and we love the flow of colour from room to room. We are happy to recommend Mulberry Interiors and Marguerite Roberts to one and all. Sandra and Jack Weller

Marguerite made our dinning room into the talk of the neigbourhood. She found the perfect mural, to make the room unique. Every time the room is used we feel like we are in a European cafe. I love my room.

Marguerite provided me with a tremendous insight into the importance of color for my new gift and flower shop. Her experience in using color and design was truly a gift that she gave to me. She pointed out how important color and set up of my displays in my store can draw my customers in. She helped me look a design from a different perspective. Her expertise and knowledge of interior design and her color consultation for my new business were so very much appreciated. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who needs a wonderful designer.

At the drafting stage she pointed out some problem sightlines(eg from the Great Room to the bathroom) that were able to be appropriately rectified prior to construction. During framing, she suggested adding sconce lights to key areas that have embellished our finished home. She also made the entire experience of choosing lights & appliances to be manageable and pleasurable by taking us to the appropriate & knowledgeable retailers and walking us through the process. We had a few colours in mind, and she was able to expand that to create a pleasing finish that has been complimented on by all visitors. We had two brainstorming sessions with Marguerite and the cabinetmaker which were enjoyable for all, and invaluable. She provided us with Hunter Douglas blinds which met our complex needs and desires, while adding beauty to the rooms. The fitting of the blinds had also been done in an expert manner. Marguerite was prompt and thorough with all the information that she provided. She is very creative and her projects are very client-centered. The dining room was in desperate need of a window treatment, but this also had to work with a piece of art of many colours. Marguerite helped to choose the fabric for custom drapes that complmented the art work and made the dining room look fantastic. Looking forward to having her assistance again in the near future with several more rooms that need to be updated and with that touch of class.

With a very small budget, I asked Marguerite for help in improving our older home. She was invaluable in choosing beautiful colours I loved for walls, kitchen counters & tiles, and installing a staircase/hall runner. A few years later, with a slightly larger house & budget, Mulberry helped choose several more paint colours and install wool rugs for living & dining room, a laminate floor in the basement, & a leather sectional sofa. Marguerite has a great sense of the customer's vision, and works hard to pull together all the design elements on time and on budget. My only regret now is that I'm spending too much time lounging in my cozy living room!

I desperately needed to update my Front Entrance, Kitchen, Diningroom, Livingroom, Library and Master Bedroom. From start to finish my experience with Mulberry Interiors was great. Marguerite listened to me and understood early on what I really wanted. She helped me to overcome my tendancy to be very safe and conservative with colour and design, and I couldn't have been happier. I tried two other decorators before settling on Marguerite because I felt that she was prepared to work with me, rather than try to push her taste on me or the "trend du jour". She has a terrific sense of colour, and combined different fabrics and textures which I would never have done on my or own. If it weren't for Marguerite I probably would have ended up spending an awful of a lot of money and hating a faux finish I was trying to get done in my front entrance. The painter/faux finisher kept insisting that I accept her idea of what would looked good. Marguerite stepped in and showed the faux finisher exactly what I wanted on a sample board and I was thrilled with the result. I get so many compliments, and people always comment on how every room flows into the next yet each room is quite different! I highly recommend Marguerite from Mulberry Interiors, and I plan on using her again when we build our new home.
