I contacted OGC last October to help repair and give function to an existing uninsulated addition in our home. From the beginning with Nick helping design within my budget, Rebeca helping me select finishes, Jim, the best project manager ever, the trades men hired were superb, to the end, speaking to Fatima, the OGC team surpassed all my expectations. When the renovation hit obstacles on the way, like a seeping foundation, they were quick to problem solve. But more than anything, their genuine concern for my husband who was recently diagnosed with altizhmers disease and my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away 36 days after moving in, and just a week after the reno began. The day my mom passed, the team paused all work on site, despite all the delays my personal situation caused for them. I don't know what I would've done without Jim.

Dealing with Fatima for warranty issues is superb. She is very professional and always on top of the situation when it comes to those items. She was quick and follows up immediately on how things are progressing.

We hired OGC to complete a renovation of our main bath and kitchen/main level during the summer of 2023. This was our first experience working with a general contractor and we went with a GC for two reasons 1. the project included removal of structural wall, and 2. as a young family with three very small children, we needed to hire someone to manage the project for us. Hiring a contractor can be a very daunting process, especially if its your first time renovating. The process of scoping the project and providing us with a quote/SOW was quite comprehensive, but I would recommend that you do your own research regarding contingency funds for your project. A lot of resources will recommend reserving at least 25% of the overall budget for unforeseen issues that may arise and this was pretty much bang on in our case when it came to the final costs. We worked with a really great material selection coordinator (Rebeca). I cannot imagine the hours I would have spent going to various stores trying to select all of the finishes on my own. We were able to accomplish so much during our meetings and that was no doubt because of her detailed preparation in advance of the meetings. Rebeca had great advice and made sure the final product for both spaces really came together. We had two project managers during the course of the renovation: Kamal and Murad. We had moved out of our property for most of the renovation and both PMs were great at keeping us updated throughout the course of the project. OGC uses a client portal where you can log in and view progress updates with photos. We were staying outside the city so it was really nice to be able to see what was going on without having to drive in. The work completed by the subcontractors was of high quality. Like any renovation, we did have issues arise, but OGC was always very responsive and professional in addressing any concerns or complaints. We are very happy with the final product of both spaces and would hire OGC again for future work.

I hired OGC to do a full renovation of my high-rise condominium. With the great assistance of Rebecca assisting with all the material selections, my Project Manager Jim was able to implement all the selections according to plan. This was a big project that went off without any notable issues. The end result was a beautiful renovation that looks fantastic. One of the biggest advantages I found was that Jim coordinated all the work and communicated with the City regarding permits as well as condo management to arrange things like deliveries / access to the building by trades, monitoring their work etc. Jim worked with the City and condo management directly so I could focus on my own job. This was exactly why I hired OGC so that I wouldnt need to be involved with the day to day details of the project. Updates to their website showing the progress with pictures and project plan updates were very helpful, I was always aware of what was happening in the condo. Job very well done.

We are pleased. Structural issues were managed well. OGC was professional, knowledgeable, timely, realistic and fair. Project Management is excellent and the crew is hardworking and really good at what they do.

We hired OGC to renovate our basement and include a bathroom. The space was tight and required some creative solutions to fit in all of our requirements. David found a solution that not only fit our needs but exceeded our expectations in terms of quality. The Project Manager, Murad was very professional and checked in on a regular basis. He was always responsive and available for any concerns we had. We were very happy with the end result and would recommend OGC.

Overall OGC is very good. Their costs are a little bit high but their project manager and designers are top notch. Overall I would give them out as a recommendation and can vouch that they will complete the work pretty much in the timeline that they quote. I did have some issues with the painters they sub contracted the work to which significantly slowed down the process. During the time when OGC was the only one with key access to the house while I was away and some very expensive prescription drugs went missing from the residence which when I brought up to them refer(and referenced a police report)nothing was really done (I was told they asked their folks). I will say OGC did make sure there was a different paint crew on ground quickly thereafter which did a great fixing job of the original. Aside from that their job was done extremely well, their PM was easy to contact for any issues and fairly quick to respond to issues. Their progress tracking was good. But do expect a marked up bill for additions in exchange for the convenience of having a PM. finally shoutout to Kamal and Don who did an amazing job and were very easy to work with.

Were very happy with OGC as our contractor for a major renovation of our condominium. The project included a full kitchen and two bathrooms, plus new flooring throughout. When major problems were discovered under the subfloor, OGC and its subcontractors dealt with the problems quickly, efficiently and effectively. The project manager was attentive and efficient and kept well informed. Overall, the renovations were completed on time and within budget. The end result is very attractive.

My house was built in 1968. It was time to make some renovations, and I was not interested to chase different companies to do the jobs that were needed. OGD did all of the chasing for me. The différent contractors the company uses were all very good and very friendly without being impolite. The job was done on time and the contractors were quite tidy they leave our property clean and orderly.

OGC did wonderful work with my basement and bathroom renovations. Any obstacles were quickly dealt with and the OGC staff were always friendly and professional. I recommend OGC to anyone look for good quality work!
